A big spender in Free Haven

A dwarf with six human guards (obviously of somesort of military background) arrives in town with a number of barrels of Ironhouse Chocolat stout. They enter the Homunculus to talk to the manger about selling the barrels to the tavern. While there they spend a lot of time with the dancers and staff, spending plenty of gold on food and drink. A careful observer would notice the dwarf and guards drink very little and spend a lot of time talking to the workers to discover if they are there by choice, and if they want a better life somewhere else.

Over the next few days they go around town spending plenty of gold, but at the same time paying off the debts of those who want to leave Free Haven, and buying any and all slaves they can.

With some curiosity Ticla is sent to talk to Valtore and his guards, asking what their business is, such a group of people does attract attention.

She would serve them drinks if they like, listening to them and trying to make the management of the Humonculus more at ease.

Such is her task.

His buisness is to sell the Ironhouse brew, and him and his guards want to relax before the long trek back to Rimwood. Also if he can help anyone seek a better life, he will do what he can.

Ticla observes the men, wondering why such à large amount of guards is needed. But she keeps her distance, quietly cleaning Some tables.

Valtore follows the bald man with one of the guards close at hand. The other guards, being well trained all notice the three leaving.

Valtore nods and enters, his guard taking possition behind him watching everything and standing at attension.

The dwarf sits down and fills two mugs with a sample of the Stout he brought with him.

"This be a new favorite, Chocolate Stout, the Ladies fancy it particularly."

As quick as she can Ticla gathers some food cooked by the slaves in the kitchen, and runs upstairs on her bare feet to deliver the food at the Sky room. With a bow she sets down the plate and shuffles out of the room with a lowered gaze*

"Hey, not so fast, little lady." The big man calls as Ticla tries to leave. "Yer a woman, tell me if the dwarf speaks the truth."

He smirks as he holds the glass out to the woman. His guards watch her closely, calling her back into the room.

*The dwarf smiles to the bald man and little Drow lass*

Ticla is brought back in the room, and looks a bit scared to those in the room. Though she keeps her head lowered, her green eyes observe everyone in the room very carefully.

"I t-think he does, sir.. is there anything else that is required of me?"

Ticla seems a bit nervous, but remains in the room as she was ordered to do so. Waiting for what may come.

"Of course I speak the truth, now here try some of this lovely brew" Slides some to the bald man and a smaller cup to the dark elf and a mug to himself

"now this is our brewmasters newest creation Chocolate stout, it has a rich flavor with just a hint of chocolate after taste. Many ladies like it, and it's a popular drink at our tavern."

While he is in this meeting with the single guard three of the others are talking to dancers and others to find out whom are slaves and who is there by choice. One guard is always on alert.
