*A sleek black panther runs into the druid enclave, slowing to a walk and, in mid stride, changing into a young woman with black clothes and long blonde hair. She looks worried, asking around for someone in charge in a matter about the Zhentarim*

Across the Grove and partially off to the side, a young woman hooded by a heavy cowl approached, her silver gaze fixated on the panther as she grows and takes the form of a young lady. She approached with caution and curiosity, not having seen this particular woman before.

"Hello there," the silver-eyed girl offered a small, polite smile, "I don't believe we've met? I'm simply a member of the Circle, but what is it that seems to vex you so? There is a possibility I could relay information for you..."

The young woman watches her for a long moment, studying her cautiously before answering.

"I am Siowen, a druid, originally of the High Forest. I am afraid I bear ill tidings."

Siowen sighs softly and gathers her thoughts before continuing.

"I was accosted by the Zhentarim when I was last in Shadowdale. I've never had any trouble with them before, but this time, upon hearing that I was a druid, they took me in for questioning. They want me to give them the name of the arch druid of the circle. If I don't bring it three days from now, I will be hunted..."

She gazes into the girl's eyes, studying her reaction.

"But there is more to it I fear. I have learned other things in my time in Shadowdale. I think I know what the Zhentarim are planning, and how it ties in with the recent burning of crops by so called wildfires. I don't know how much the circle already knows, but I would like to tell it to someone who will know what to do with the information."

She gazes into the girl's eyes intently, a look of urgency on her face.

Archspirit observes Siowen entrance in cat form. He smiles at that, but his smile disappears after hearing the news. "Welcome to the grove, druid of the High Forest." He approaches closer to her, listening what she is saying, while he is picking up her scent. "Shadowdale City is not place for walkers of the forest. You might don't have to do anything with it, just like you say, but that will not stop them to use you or harm you for whatever sick reasons the Zhentarim have. I wonder how could they forget the name of Archdruid so quickly. They killed him after all. His name is Ka." Leo stops next to sister Lhanir. "This is nothing new. Zhentarim has been always harming nature in one way or another. But we'll heal the damage they make as always, and remove the scum from the wilds."

The woman's gaze flickered at the mention of the High Forest, but she didn't speak further about it. Rather, as soon as the Arch Spirit Leo approached she became silent, allowing him to speak his piece. Once he finished, she nodded slightly in agreement, looking back to Siowen.

"It is unfortunate that you had to suffer them in such a way. As of right now, they are rather... adamant... about exacting revenge upon the Circle despite their sudden frustration resulting from their own blunder, unlike a few days ago when we were but dust in the wind after the -as my brother stated- death of Ka." Her arms folded casually, leaning her weight mostly to one foot as her thoughtful gaze passed to Leo and back before continuing.

"For now, it'd be wise that you not wander back into Shadowdale until this situation has been dealt with. At least, unless you feel they will not recognize you. I understand that you might feel fear or anxiety over their threats. Given your recent interaction with them though, forgive me if I feel cautious about your immediate, unanticipated arrival. It might be best to simply wait out your time away from Shadowdale, unless my brother here feels willing to let you reside in the Grove and nearby as a means of protection." Lhanir's wariness was clear in her tone, but the girl was still willing to give Siowen a chance, should she be telling the truth about the Zhentarim's threats against her.

Archspirit nods to sister Lhanir and smiles friendly at Siowen. "Who am I to deny visit of a druid? The High Forest is very far away, you must be tired. You are of course welcomed to stay as long you feel like it or join the circle. You will be safe here from zhentarim or furies followers. Just please restrain from taking forms of animals. This new sickness reached even these sacred grounds and it seems to be affecting animals only. But I felt its effect on myself in plant form too."

*A fully hooded and tall woman walks by and notices the scene. Instead of her normal cheery self she seems agitated by her movements and voice* There is food in the Roost. Help yourself. Dont cast healing magics on the infected animals. *without any other explaination she walks briskly to the rope leading to the Ranger Roost while looking at a journal*

*Bows her head in a brief greeting as Leo approaches. She listens to his words, nodding here and there, then turns her attention back to the silver-eyed girl as she continues, waiting her turn to speak*

Do not worry about me for now, I have suffered no harm yet. I don't know why the zhents asked for the name. Perhaps they are already seeking to kill this Ka's succesor.

I don't want to know any more names for now. I am sure they will have ways of making me tell them if I should get caught.

What I do want is to tell you what I know. I...

*Siowen stops as the tall lady passes, and speaks, momentarily confused. She pauses an gathers her thoughts*

I don't know how much of this you already know, but a powerful worshipper of Talona has taken up with the Zhentarim. I fought him once, and he defeated me with ease.
He hates druids, and I have heard him proclaim that he would turn the dales into a poisonous wasteland.
When I first saw him he had just joined their ranks, but now it seems, that this plan of his is coming true.
Your talk of the infected animals, the burning of crops near shadowdale, the killing of druids...
He hates druids with a passion. That I know...

*pauses to draw her breath, breathing in deeply and calming herself*

If I heard his name, I don't remember it, but I would recognize him if I see him. I suspect that all this is due to his influence...

If so, he must be stopped.

*She looks back and forth between the two of them, urgency and sadness in her eyes*

"Zhentarim already tried to get one of their men in our circle. It was a druid named Cristopher Cypres. He of course failed to fool me and I refused to allow Talona worshiper in our grove. Especially after he wished to keep his creature of poison as companion. I understand that spiders are part of nature, but forming a bond with one of those creatures is something I do not welcome, just like dogmas of some of our green gods. He played on card that he can just come back because he was member of this circle before." Leo scowls. "However he was just Zaburra's pet. I am still not sure would he posses the power to cause all this. Another druid hand may be involved here it seems. Maybe the one that the Great Bear spoke of when he visited our grove. Druid's power is difficult to block, but not impossible. We need to find a white deer to shield this grove from further influence of the Lady of Poison. So unless she comes here to face us herself, her druids will have no power here. White deer helped us in past against Malar, and it can help us now too. We just need to be lucky to find one. Unfortunately there is none here in Shadowdale Woods."
