A skirmish at the Crossroads

Along the Cormanthor, at the Crossroads, Corbin Gustang a Paladin of Lathander was ambushed by a large group of bandits. He ordered them to surrender, and as they closed in on him it was apparent fighting was his only option.

The Shining Knight fought with all his strength, teeth grit, neck twists looking for who's coming next, but there are none left. All around the knight is surrounded by death and the only witness to the skirmish being the wagon master Natalia Rider.

Bodies, blood, broken weapons and arrows litter the battle ground. The Paladin takes a few hours to line the corpses uniformly along the road side. Crossing the arms across their chest in a dignified postion and offering prayer to the Morninglord as last rites. With nothing more he can do, he shakes his head at the scene before silently continuing on.

((OOC Notes: It seemed to be a DM Event thing that was just left behind. Lots of mobs and no one controlling them. They where just hostile and attacked me. I have a screen shot of it but im not sure how to add images on the forums.
