Finally mustered courage to send the information he had gathered back to the dwarves, Alden puts on his cloak and pulls up his hood and walks out from the tavern into the night. He walks towards a pond nearby, where he's spent more then a few hours in conversation with Songbird. Elminsters burned out tower looms as a dark shadow over him as he tries not to be seen.
Satisfied he is alone he takes out a piece of paper with his notes*** on it. Still not sure if this will work he continues anyways and takes out his cat familiar Attena. Mutters an enchantment that changes her appearence, not an illiusion but a transmution since he was never able to create good illusions, so that if caught people wouldn't recognize her for his. He straps the enchanted piece of paper to her collar and makes sure it sits there firmly. Takes a good long look at her and sends her off with a mental command, aware that this might be the last time he sees her, he chokes down a sob.
Sneaking back to the inn he hopes he has taken all precautions needed. The paper was enchanted so if anyone but Khoinar tries to read it the letters would melt away and change into a simple recepie for an apple pie. And he hopes Attena, even with her enhanced ablilities being his familiar, would be alright.
Abruptly he stops. What is someone else then Khoinar did take the note? Morrigan or Grendel? Not malevolent hands? Cursing himself on his stupidity he blends into the shadows behind the inn and dissapears from sight ....
*** Note reads as follows
Pandora - Druid - Tortured by Ignatious by a ghoul - Might be sympathetic to our cause after the incident, last known whereabouts Oak Tree Tavern
((( Being his first attempt at a report he didn't dare to write down more events incase the note fell into the wrong hands. And he feels terrible risking the druids identity in this manner as well )))
