An unusual merchant

Rumours spead all over the dales that a merchant's caravan is slowly moving through the dales stoping by in every village and town, sellling rare things to everyone able to efford them. It is estimated that he will arrive Freehaven in about one tenday.

Upon hearing of the merchant Valtore, well known as a seeker of rare books, gathers supplies to make the trek to Free Haven. He sends the fastest messenger he can find with a letter to this merchant. (Pm sent)

As time goes by and the arrival of the merchants comes closer, his helpers can be seen in Shadowdale, Myth Drannor and Freehaven speaking to the people, asking them for their needs. They scribble down whatever the people say..no matter how expensive or unusual it might be.

The helper return to each place they have visited and pin notes on every board they find, it reads.

Our master is on travel for a long time by now and sold a fair amount of his goods in other regions already. Therefor he hereby anncounces that each person can sell two items maximum.
He is willing to trade in item for item in case the customer doesn't own the money to pay in gold only.. He wont give out loans at all.
He also offers a certain amount of potions, wands and scrolls.
Anyone who causes trouble within Freehaven while he is there, for whatever reason, will be thrown out and wont get the chance to speak with our master.
