A mysterious elf

guards may have reported seeing a mysterious elf roaming around looking oddly at things about the city.. they later discribe him as looking old but not quiet sure as the see him differently every time.. he appears to be hunched over and wearing old tattered clothing almost ancient looking in appears..

they one thing they all agree on is that he has a mysterious exuberantly staff intrictly designed by what they think is old elvish patterns..

it is finely mad and detailed to say the least oddly almost familar but they cant really place it..

they go to ask him questions but by the time they get to where he was he has vanished into then air not to be seen again until a night or two later doing the same things as before. each time they approach he is gone again..

they assume he is just lost or something but decide to report it non the less in hopes someone may catch him and help him to where ever he searches for..


(ok peeps feel free to post on this if you see him in game ic some may have a guess but hopefully are not sure or may have the wrong person entirely he did go by many alias's after all lol)

(please keep all ooc stuff in parenthsis for me so i can keep track of it better thank you)

(also side note some of the really older players my suspect the right char but not recognise him for sure others may depending on how close he really was to them when he was last seen which will be an extreme few except the coronal he hides nothing from her never did she will know instantly who he is)

the mysterious elf sat by the fire today and chatted to a number of passerbys. he made note of the conversations they had and took in much new information..

he let slip bits of info from long ago and sat drinking a strong woodsy tea amoungst the group. all the while maintaining his disguise..

he did not let on as to his name but simple dawned a new one "elder" which was offered by a respectful young elf.. by other races less respectful "old man" he would be called as it is how he introduced himself.. the elven lad seem to have naturaly pointed out of respect which did catch the mysterious elfs attention that he was an elder elf and much could be learned from him so as to not repeat the past mistakes or history..

so far none have truly called him old man but have kept elder elf which shows they do have some respect how much will reamin to be seen in future talks he hopes..

he also made note of a man that remains neutral and in time hopes he can persuade him to join md's side but only time will tell for certain. he has seen naught hide narry a hair of the older people he once knew but still visits a shrine in the farms now and then and may eventualy wonder out of md and see long forgotten grounds he traveled so long ago..

maybe with an escort he isnt sure yet he enjoys talking to the younglings for now..

(bits of info he let slip strong woodsy tea, his staff, and bonking younglings on the head that needed to be set straight also that he got in trouble for doing so, that he is not a mage like solmah ,that he used to be friends with a group called wardens, and if anyone noticed a small light appeared on his forehead when in thought and vanished when not he is disguised and had his head held down so they would have to actively look to see it, and that he used to fight the zhent on a regular basis.. if i missed anyhthing feel free to let me know ill edit it and add it in)

Karovir sees the elf in the camp standing next to tael My'manir. Having a suspicion but not knowing exactly who it is he decides to greet the elf with a little cold breeze in his neck.

Jeyana - wandering through Myth Drannor - would suddenly stop when she noticed the old elf. Something about his features, his way of moving, his general behaviour or perhaps even his voice reminded her on someone she used to know long ago.

She watches the stranger for quite some time as he sits by the fire, sipping from his tea.
And when she finally walks off she does so with a thoughtful frown and rubbing her neck occasionally.

he smiles at all as chats to them as they come by is a bit nervous as karovir and jeyana stop by wondering how good his guise is and it is really put to the test with those two..

(jeyana and karovir have and excellent chance ay knowing who it is hehe sorry i forgot bout jeyana and ty but yes those two would be able to bust him for various reasons smirks but if you bust him please do so in game and report it back here thanks all for getting in on this)

he hobbles off to the library and wonders around takes a fruit from the tree in there and eats it a librarian in there quickly spots him he winks at her and chats to her for a short bit. then goes back to the fire..

Blue and Piak have been through a few adventures together, but never were closest friends, so Piak would most likely see another elf in Myth Drannor. If he meets him at the campfire or his favourite sofa in the library, he'd tip his hat politely and maybe do some conversation while he does some reading about the old city and the ruins.

he sat at a fire for the longest time toying with a few people and a fellow mage he posed a riddle when asked what circle he had reached and what he need help with he stated "what circle am i and draws one with his staff in the dirt beneath his feet i am in this circle" and left it at that should they answer correctly he may offer a reward should they not he may just continue on his path...

(rewards mentioned a story, knowledge, or a scroll)

and yes if mysterious elder elf passes by and sees piak he would stop to chat as well he does remember piak as well tho piak will most likely see the old elf..

the mysterious elder elf recived a donation today when asked if he need new cloths food and all that he waved it off then held his cup out seemingly pandering which he intends to return

(player that gave him gold please see me in game for a refund *smirks i just did it to keep the act going it was 2000 that or i will try to help with this so called curse if i can)

he chats abit to a few others and had recieved news from a dwarf that aurynne is no longer keeper of myth drannor and then is puzzled if she isnt then who is he wonders to him self..

he also wonders what happened to many of his old friends that he used to know so he goes to the coronal stop by her guards he demands an audiance with her

*completely forgetting he is in disguise*

he refuses to give up his staff stating that she knows him and would allow him to even carry weapons in her presence if he felt the need.. *he flat refuses to give his mage staff up to any one but the coronal herself no one else should she so choose to ask beings a mage staff is an extension there for a very personal posseson to a mage also the powers*

so he causes a big scene to draw her attention or aleast someone close enough to her that can see thru his disguise and bring the fact to his attention

(short of actualy doing anything to harm them magicaly or otherwise he would not raise a hand to a defender or the coronal herself he respects them far to much for that.. her husband fflar would know him as well as welcome him he had many personal talks with them they even attended his wedding as well as was able to say a few words before the ceremony and gave her blessing to them both she was one of the very few that held his children id go on but my hand hurts a tad now.. you need more info as dm let me know ill pm it to you)

The tall raven haired woman in red armor would see this elf and smile to herself knowing that he was back.

I do hope your back for good and not just a visit my friend.

She would sit by the fire listening and enjoying the company and the time away from her lists that she folded up and put back in her armor.
