Wooden plaques are posted at the gate of the Hound's compound as well as inside the public tavern, they read the following:

Rules of the Hound's Compound
  1. Weapons are only to be drawn in the Hound's Compound if within one of the two sparring pits.
  2. No orcs, drow, yuan-ti, or duergar are allowed within the Hound's Compound, any found within will be killed on sight. Half-bloods and tieflings will need to be reviewed before gaining acceptance into the Compound.
  3. Theft or destruction of property within the walls will be punished.
  4. Anyone banned from the Compound found within the walls will be removed by force.
  5. No bearing the markings of any governmental factions, no Zhentarim or Defender uniforms are to be worn within the Hound's walls (this includes cloaks and badges)
  6. Any Hound has the power to remove anyone from the Compound at will, no reason needs to be given.
  7. Bedrooms within the tavern area are to be for clients and friends of the Hounds, prices will increase drastically if you are neither.
  8. Preaching of faiths is allowed so long as it does not offend anyone, if a Hound requests you to cease any preaching you are required to. NOTE: No preaching of Cyric, Velsharoon, Beshaba, Talona, or the Furies will be tolerated.
  9. Masks are not to be worn within the Compound, anyone found wearing one will be asked to remove it or will be escorted off the grounds.
  10. Raising the dead on our grounds will result in you getting cut down, there will be no warning.
  11. Anyone found impersonating a Hound will punished.

This compound is private property, the laws of Myth Drannor and Shadowdale do not apply and neither do their officials have any power here. Punishments other than those resulting a swift death as listed above are not set in stone, however we will follow an "eye-for-eye" set of standards for punishments.

Flyers get posted at the gate of the compound as well as at the crossroads and on trees along the North Ride.

The Black Hounds Compound is now open to the public, drink at the Tavern or rest from a long journey within our available rooms for rent. Keep conflicts to the sparring rings or place bets on those doing the sparring. Follow the rules and drink your fill!
