Rescue and Healing Operation

Sahiba takes a deep breath and lets it out slowly. "I was the one coordinating the efforts here, however as we do not yet have an Arch Druid I can not bring them to speak with you. If you would rather I ask our Great Druid to come, I shall."

"Though, from what little I've gathered you're worried about the change to the mountain? You are certain there is nothing I could do to explain things?"

blue would here julias comment and see her scratching her head tho not knowing everything he simply says "welcome to my world jules, i have spent many a years in the bewieldered pose over many things most on race relations.."

Valtore turns a hard stare on Sahiba "So ye are the one who thought this.." waves his arm at hill.. "was a good idea? Ye just decided that ye would do what thought was best with no real thought of the consequences? This Hill was sacred ta me Clan. Our Gods spoke ta our Thane on this spot. When tha Shadovar attacked and destroyed this place we too thought it was a disaster that needed ta be repaired. However we turned to our Gods instead of thinkin we knew better. Our Gods spoke ta us and told us not ta repair it. Ta learn ta live and use what was done ta us. Yur cold spells caused tha elementals ta attack. Ye act on yur own without any regard ta those around ye. Now Our Gods may be angry at us fur your arrogance. So by all means Lass, explain to me how this is all hunky dory and ye will just plant yur stupid plants and ignore tha damage ye could have done."

Sahiba nods, her expression grave. "I would not fear retribution from your Gods," She says softly. "For, just as your Gods told you to not to repair the damage, the Land cried out for us to heal it. As you are angry at us for not considering what your Gods wished, would you expect us to ignore ours?"

"We acted to restore the balance, as is our mandate to do, yet we were careful not to cause any further damage to your kin or the structures they created." She continues. "I know the spell the young lady was speaking of, and there is a reason why we did not chose to use it. It was never our intent to displace your kin or cause further damage to this place, only to repair what was done as the Land itself asked of us."

"Perhaps we should have left things as they were, but have you ever seen the area around a natural volcano?" She asks. "The land is barren, and nothing but the smallest of life exists there. The air is poisonous to all who come near. Would you have rather we left things as they were for that to happen? For the molten rock to continue to pour over the entryway of your home and destroy everything in this area? We acted to prevent that from happening. It was not only your home we had to consider, but all life in the area."

"We did what we could to preserve what you created, as the Land does not mind your presence, nor do we." She bows her head. "I apologize for removing your crater, and if you would rather a hole in the ground than a restored mountain, I can gather the others to undo the spell. However, I will not apologize for stopping the flow of molten rock. Its presence was far too dangerous to the land around us not to do anything about it."

"If you still wish to speak to the Great Druid, I can go retrieve her."

Valtore just shakes his head, "ye truly have no sight beyond yur own nose. Tha world is more then just yur Gods or my Gods. One will squish ye underfoot as quick as tha next. Ye acted rashly without all the information and now others may well pay tha price for it. Yet cause ye decide that it had ta be done ye wash yourself of the pain ye may cause and take no responsibility fur it. A rift ta the plane of fire...just as Moredin's Forge uses. As many of the Dwarf Halls of Legend use and harness ta craft. Ye claim it was a disruption, yet I see it as a gift from me Gods that was destroyed by pride. A crater would do nothing as you tainted and destroyed what was there. I pray for ye sake that tha Gods of me ancestors are as forgivin as ye seem ta think they are. Do as ye will Lass, We shall seek council with our Gods."

Muirne comes back with another sapling that the 4'10' tall redhead must work to carry. She doesn't seem to mind the work. Barefoot as always, she carefully steps up the natural path. The sapling stands nearly as tall she is, and as she carries it by it's carefully wrapped roots. She seems to wear a cap of leaves over her copper hair, plodding up the path slowly so as not to upset the tree.

She peeks around the sapling to Sahiba, "Should I seek the Great Elder?" She brings the sapling to rest next to the other one, and looks from Sahiba to Valtore, rather confused as she catches the end of the conversation.

blue continues to work off an on with spells clearing the path with the rest untill he tires and must rest waiting for further instructions on how best he can help but he will soon return home to his kids

Turning to Muirne, she nodded. "Yes, please do."

With that, after offering another bow of the head to the dwarf, she walks over to a quiet place upon the hill and sits. Crossing her legs the druidess enters a meditative state while she awaits the arrival of the Great Druid.

Muirne's brow creases but only slightly as she nods to Sahiba. She waters the root bundles of the two saplings before she scampers off back the way she came in search of Cejari. In the least she can bring back another tree, but she is careful to check the gnome's favorite perches, and the paths the woman walks between the Grove and the Rimwood.

On the outskirts of the operation, Bel hides in the shadows, observing the combined efforts of those involved in the rescue operation. A distant shadow lingering in the background, workers may occasionally catch a glimpse of the elusive Half-Drow.

Meanwhile, Cole continues turning the dirt around the ruins of the Oak, smiling up at the mountain and reflecting how good it was to not have volcanic gas poisoning the air and lava spilling out to threaten the forest anymore.

Cejari can easily be found within the Grove, tending to an injured deer, when Muirne finds her. Upon hearing a dwarf is asking for her, she asks Muirne to comfort the deer and keep prying eyes off of her before setting off towards Rimwood to seek Valtore.

blue could be seen leaving the rescue sight casting a true sight spell making sure he wasnt followed he looks around before continueing on..

Valtore soon returns to the tunnels to work to continue to free his Clan. His heart heavy and a concerned look on his face. He once more throws himself into his work, skipping breaks and meals as they get closer to the exit. He keeps Leo and the other spell casters who offer their aid using acid to break down the stone as the dwarves picks so it can be lugged out of the tiny tunnel. The Ironwood beams that were taken from the Oak are used to secure the roof from collapse. Occasionally he mummers a prayer to Moredin and Dugmaren. If any try to get him to leave or take a break he scowls and makes rather rude comments and continues. He will only leave now to speak with this Great Druid.

Belrid would return after the beams were given, deciding to help out alongside Valtore, even as a stranger walking into the mess, he would treat Valtore and those trapped inside as if they were blooded brothers and sisters. "I be here t'help ye Valtore, y'not be alone!" He would offer his strength and aid to Valtore as much as he could himself to lessen the burden.

Muirne remains in the Grove and after introducing herself to the deer, murmurs reassuringly that she will take as much care as the Great Elder had been until her return.

After more than a week of digging out the tunnel through the bunker, those digging finally break through to the halls. The rescue of those trapped in the Ironhouse Halls can begin.

blue not sure if auryne is there or not stays back and helps the others get out and does what he can to help the others.. he turns and says to the elder dwarf valtore

"im not trying to be funny here but this is so not the way i expected to visit you beloved halls but when ready i would like a porper tour eventualy.. i might even try ya ale i did say might" *smirks* "for now let us continue helping your people and the others shall we"

Celovar is seen standing on guard with see invis as well as other enchantments to aid his detection.

After the workers broke out of the collapsed tunnel into the Hall and discovered those inside were alive and well (if a bit stir crazy or completely nuts in the case of Auryne) Valtore is no where to be found. Those moving back and forth have no idea where he went after the way was open. Word at the little camp is; he passed by and after destroying a skeleton said he needed a nap and headed towards the boat to Myth Drannor.

Once back in town he closes himself off in his room at the School.

A half-drow would emerge from the tunnel, and anyone who had saw her would recognize her as Veska. She looked to be very relieved to be outside the halls again, almost ready to faint from how long she'd missed the outside world.

The ar'tel'quessir Nadin seems not much worried about the dwarves, as he is certain they were helping in the other side and would be fine in general, instead he passes the most politely and fast way their ranks, asking to find a certain ruar'tel'quessir. The first thing Nadin would notice before he entered the room was the biting stench coming from it.

He would find Auryne in her room, lying semi unconscious near her bed on the floor amid a pile of empty bottles of wine, empty tankards of ale and some empty vials of some other substance, partially covered in her own vomit.

She looks even paller than usually and her sunken eyes have deep rings. Her once exquisite ladylike dress dress stained by her own vomit and whatelse.

On the floor are scattered parchements with notes, diagrams and summoning circles drawn on them, partially not readable anymore because someone vomitted on them. Two glowing power essences and a bag of Cold Iron bars, some of the bars fallen out of the bag and onto the floor, are resting on the desk.

as he comes near her, she would suddenly grip his arms, her reddened eyes wide:

"Dhaerow!! They have taken the halls! They are everywhere! They are freely wandering the halls already! We must save what dwarves we can and evacuate! Relay my orders to the other Akh´Velahr, Spell Captain, we must save as many of our allies as possible!"

At the sight Nadin frows visible at first, but then he fastly recovers in a thin smile as he silently and hastily thank the Seldarine his friend is still alive, than a sudden reflex comes due the powerful stench and Nadin almost vomit but instead hold his breath and tries to inhale the least possible (rolls concentration 41 and fortitude 29). First impulse Nadin thinks to explain what happened, but than he decides better walk in the way he was already set.

- Lady Keeper I must respectfully decline this order, as the High Captain ordered me to come for you, he wants meet you to discuss our counteratack. Our allies are already evacuating, we can use the opportunity to sneak past the enemy, come milady.

He hastly packs the essences and cold iron in the bag and pick the bag. Nadin than offers an arm to help her walk and covers both in a mantle he picked to help in rescue.

Auryne nods firmly to him as he helps her up and tries to gather herself a bit.

she is obviously in pain as she flinches as she gets up

"Good Spell Captain let us get those out we can and then strike back at the filthy Dhaerow for this craven treachery and help the dwarves reclaim their halls"

She and Nadin would sneak past the non existant enemies and as soon as they pass the boundary of the dead magic area she would visibly relax. Rubbing her temples she would say:

"ah this is much better, the pressure, its gone"

Her face would then twist into a grimace of pain again as she almost immediatly shifts into a pixie form.

She giggles escitedly as she pokes Nadins nose.

"Freeeee! this feels so much better!"

She claps her hands with a joyful laugh turns invisible and flies away out of the tunnel and into the forest not to be seen again for that day... the last thing Nadin would hear of her is a the joyful giggling that echoes through the tunnels
