PostSubject: Re: Rescue and Healing Operation   Rescue and Healing Operation - Page 4 EmptyMon Apr 22, 2013 3:55 pm

Muirne comes back the next day, practically waddling like a toddler carrying a pup her size, as she carries a small sapling that is almost as large as she is. She looks for the other members of the Circle with a smile, especially Cejari, asking if they can spare a moment for an idea. She politely nods and speaks around the saplings branches "Excuse me, Sister... but when you have a moment, I've a question of you and the others of the Circle."

((Fixed))

((Just my guess; I think we're digging from the entrance. I could be wrong though! I looked back to Valtore's post:

Quote :
Valtore nods to the new dwarf and gives him a brief idea of what needs to be done "Grab a pick or wagon, we need ta move the stone blockin the entrance.Once that be done we be drinkin with our cousins in tha Halls, then huntin down them who dun this!"

might be it? XD Upon further inspection, it seems like it could be either. However, I think it would be the Entrance. *shrug* Forgive me if I'm wrong!))

Accordingly Valtore explanation bellow its even more far than the entrance to the Hill, almost in the other side of the area - he added some map elsewhere here in this thread))

Valtore asks the spell casters to use disinergrate spells on the larger stones and acid spells to eat away at the stone. He directs those who work with more physical means on where to dig, rotating people in the tinny tunnel so no one is over worked. He knows that some think to dig out the mines and main entrance but he knows the quickest way to reach the Halls is the tunnel from the Bunker. Who knows how much damage the mines took or what the "rebuilt" hill will do to how the weight on those stones sits. It's best to Lon up here and get them out before tackling the larger problem.

//sorry things get confusing with all the posts, but he has only been at this spot so far. So only the tunnel far from the "hill"

As thing begin to move along Valtore keeps Leo close by to use his acid to break down the larger stone. He turns to Belrid "Lad take some volunteers and scavenge some beams from the ruins of tha Inn. Ironwood will help support tha tunnel so we don't have another cave in." He nods encouragingly to the dwarf paladin. "Aye Leo hit tha big stone there!" He turns back to the task at hand..."AND SOMEONE BRING US SOME WATER!"

Belrid would nod quickly, rushing off to find some volunteers amongst those who were unable to help with the opening of the tunnel. Once they followed, he would head off to the ruins of the Royal Oak, and begin to attempt salvaging good strong beams of Ironwood with those who volunteered to aid him.

She grins at Sahiba and the rest of the Circle members she's managed to gather before her expression turns rather serious. "We should plant up there... of all the land in need of rebirth. I think it fitting. I also have a pouch full of wildflower seeds. So long as it is safe. Perhaps some roots would further stabilize the 'cap'? What say the lot of you?" She looks at the others and waits patiently for thoughts on the matter.

blue would often when out of spells change into an iron golem to help move rubble manulay but only did so when left with no other spells and not so tired.. he could half been seen introducing him self as iron elfy in a not so serious manner rather playfully actualy trying to lighten the mood.. rare occasions and metal sounding laugh can be heard.. to which when asked he would simply say "oh a little oil would fix that right up" and continue to work as long as his pell held before retiring to rest and restore his spells..

During one of Valtores rare breaks he he heads to the surface and sees the "Hill" for the first time. He silently walks the path to the top. In silent contemplation he gazes out over the reformed mound. At the center of the Hill he makes a murmered prayer in dwarven, then walks to the edge overlooking the forest. "What did they do?" He waits there for a while collecting his thoughts wondering what the others will say.

Sahiba climbs to the top of the mountain with the large sapling she had taken from Muirne. Setting it down, she smiles to the dwarf and waves.

"Hello there." She says, then tilts her head to the side as she notes his expression. "Is something the matter?"

Leo finishes the stone with acid that Valtore directed him to, and Hafur brings water to Valtore. Hafur begins to sing a dwarven song to inspire workers to do more effective and successful work, while Leo focuses on helping others until he is again directed to a specific task.

Rescue and Healing Operation - Page 4 Empty
PostSubject: Re: Rescue and Healing Operation   Rescue and Healing Operation - Page 4 EmptyTue Apr 23, 2013 5:36 am

If you Really want to Restore this entire area to its natural formal glory, We should go directly to the sorce and appeal to the essence of the Earth herself.

We'll need to perform a Ritual and cast a powerful Spell, the area in 1 mile radius will be compleately renovated in 24 hours. After that the dwarves can rebuild the entrance without any problem. If you decide to do this we'll have to gather the material components: burning incense, soft clay, sulfur, phosphorus, water, sand, and a duly consecrated holy symbol.

((Julia starts to explain to the group the details of "Conjure Nature Elemental"))

Quote :
Conjure Nature Elemental (Conjuration/Summoning)

Sphere: Elemental Earth, Air, Fire, Water; Plant; Summoning
Range: 100 yards
Components: V, S, M
Duration: Special or 24 hours
Casting Time: 1 turn
Area of Effect: 1 mile
Saving Throw: None

Upon the casting of this spell, the caster opens a direct link with Chauntea and a portion of her essence forms a nature elemental (detailed in the MONSTROUS COMPENDIUM booklet in the Ruins of Zhentil Keep boxed set) from the uncivilized and uncultivated portions of the priest's current surroundings. This spell is only granted by Chauntea diliberately to her clergy members after great consideration upon the damage it will inflict when used. (The only other church known to be able to cast a parallel form of this spell is that of Rillifane Rallithil, and he has refused its usage for over a century.)

Unless the caster is 17th level or higher, she or he must make a saving throw vs. breath weapon. If the saving throw fails, the caster provides the spirit portion of the elemental's essence (it is composed of earth, air, fire, water, and spirit) and departs the Prime Material Plane when the elemental disperses at the end of the spell's duration. The caster is then dead, but his or her body remains intact (it is, oddly, not restructured like the environment) and may be raised or resurrected.

Priests must be above 17th level to inscribe this spell onto a scroll, and then only someone who is in touch with nature (druids, clerics or specialty priests of nature powers, or rangers above 5th level) can read the scroll. When reading from a scroll, a caster does not need to make a saving throw.

Nature elementals are summoned to return the spell's area of effect to an uncultivated state. All signs of civilization and all humans or humanoids within the area of effect are obliterated. The only people immune to the elemental's fury are the caster and up to 10 people per the caster's level within a 100-yard-radius who are designated upon casting the spell. The elemental disperses into its environmental components when a 1-mile radius is renovated or after 24 hours, whichever occurs first.

Unlike other elementals, nature elementals cannot be controlled. Their duties and the area in which they are to perform them are set at their summoning. If the area a nature elemental is summoned into is free of signs of civilization, the creature disperses. Nature elementals are not affected by protection from evil spells and like magics intended to hold at bay extraplanar creatures.

Valtore uncharacteristically and rudely interrupts Julia as she speak..."Restoration of this place is not tha issue Druid. There be thins ye don't know and I doubt ye would understand. Fetch yur Archdruid so I may discuses these thins with her. I barely have tha desire ta speak of them with her but necessity demands I do. Ye on the other hand are not privy ta what I speak of, so if ye donna mind please send her here."

He then moves closer to Julia and speaks quietly with her, Sahiba obviously dismissed.

And don't worry Val, I know that this Hill is Holy groud to the Ironhouses, and as a natural formation it was here before the Dwarves came, the spell will bring it back to it's original state, untouched and as sacred as it was when you first saw it.
