On the crossroads one can spot a poor soul bound to a tree. Her hands and feet are burned and the letters BANE are burned into her forehead.
A small note infront of the girl states "Threats are not to be thrown around easily or somebody you might not expect will suffer"

Upon later observation the body would be discovered to have disappeared, bindings and all.

Karovir has found the poor woman tied on a tree and unconscious. He cut her ties and healed her as good as he could with his divine magic. After a short conversation he carried her to the theater where her companion was waiting for her and left soon after.
Another note is pinned and tied on the tree now reading:
"Beating up unarmed women now? Do the Zhentarim run out of farmers to torture?"
