After a pitched battle of magic and might, Ahri lay dead on the ground before a masked man. Before he could drag her away a few powerful wanderers intervened. Celovar, and a man named Jim, along with Nimriel and Arya had a brief exchange before the battle was joined in earnest against the Warlock of great repute known as Zaburra, the masked man, and the shadow that watched.
The battle was short and bloody, and while suffering many wounds, those that protected Ahri ultimately were victorious fighting hard with blazing steel, fists, and song against a shadowwalker's grace, dark powers and eldritch might. During the fray, a man named Nathaniel bravely jumped into the fray on the side of the adventurers, hacking and slashing with all of his might. When it was all done, Ahri and many of the combantants that had fallen were resurrected, and both parties withdrew from the field.
As Ahri was escorted away from the Crossroads, she looked back, a sad frown upon her face. She feared this would not be the last battle.
