When he's not caring for the sick or injured, or conducting vespers, Cleophus's on-duty time is spent going from farmhouse to farmhouse, using the books he'd procured in Myth Drannor to teach the children basic numbers, letters, and lore.
If he is refused, he politely moves on. Where he isn't refused, he schedules regular times and tries to teach groups of children at once.
(( If Roveston approves for Lucent J. Mayer: )) Sometimes, he has a friend with him, who makes it more fun for the children by doing a little performance.
Adults are also allowed to participate.
