Aftermath of the disaster

Shadow Beasts tore a path of destruction through North Shadowdale, leaving four farmers dead, and killing countless amounts of livestock and crops, bringing more sorrow on the already struggling people of Shadowdale.

Bel would be visibly shaken by the horrific ways the farmers were torn apart, and makes her way to the Temple of Chauntea to inform the Harvest Mistress that four of her children need burial.

Afterward Bel would visit the homesteads of the families that had just lost their loved ones, and console them however she could, offering gold to help them survive the loss of their crops and loved one's income. ((Please remove a reasonable amount from me in game any time))

Nate would be seen running around between the water well and burning crops trying to stop the fire from spreading.

Later that evening Colt could be found in the dorms of the academy cleaning the dirt and blood from his armour.  Over and over he relived the battle in his mind.  The furious and emotional hacking and slashing of the dark entity that tore apart the northern farms of Shadowdale.  Wiping clean his emblem of the Tentacus he knew that he owed a great service to Sedrin, if it were not for his brother in arms striking the final blow he would not be sitting were he was now. Setting the armour aside, satisfied with it appearance, he rolled back in the bunk resting his head in his hands. 'Who was the mysterious Cyric madman that had started all of this?' The thought swilled in his head as he fell into a deep slumber.

A knight who's armor is decorated in bones and images of lions could be seen leaving the aftermath of the battle with a very large panther slung over his shoulders. It would seem he cared more for dealing with the large cat than any of the dead farmers or livestock. If anyone were to follow him they would notice he headed east of town and was joined up by a an armored tiger before speaking in a very strange language over the dead panther's remains. As he spoke the knight made many strange gestures over the body before finally the tiger dragged the panther's body off into the wilds.

Those who speak shaaran would be able to tell he was saying last rites for the panther. Anyone with a good knowledge of religions might have heard the name Nobanion said even if they could not understand the language.

*Julia will leave everything behind and run to North Town with all the available Staff of the House of Plenty, She will use all resources and prayers known to try resurrect the four dead farmers. If not possible, she will ask a Paladin to go to the Bank, get all diamonds she has stocked there, and they are many, ask the families around to talk about the dead, their names and who they are and the High Harvestmistress will ask "She Who Shapes All" to bring the four back with "True Resurrection" Spells.

After that Julia will give confort to the people and citizens, holds all the Material Components she has been gathering in the last week to perform the "Hallow" Ritual, erbs, oils, and incense worth at 2,000 gp and will ask everyone of good will to follow her to the Crypt in the Old Skull Tor.*

Well my friends, When a "True Resurrection" Spell fails, as my old Abbess back in home used to say: "Better put your helmets cause will start to rain stone".

The House of Plenty Staff will begin the preparations for the funerals, I'm sorry for your loss, deeply. I'll personally patrol North Shadowdale at night from now on, until we discover which kind of Evil Sorcery is this. On his way back to Myth Drannor after a meeting with the Mayor, Cleo hears of the troubles. He lingers in town, offering healing to those who suffer, a hammer to those who had property destroyed, and a listening ear to those who mourn.

Should he hear of the attempt to Hallow the area, Cleo will offer his aid and that of the Dawnspire, as he knows the process can be long and expensive when dealing with such a large area.

His armor and clothing is soaked in blood and covered with dirt, and his whole body ached after the fight. His sword-arm felt heavy as if made of lead, but yet he was happy - after all, they had managed to put the beast down, even if it looked like it was going to end bad for quite some time. Professor Colt had proven him self to be a strong ally in the battle, and without his aid things surely would have ended in tragedy. Yet, the fight had taken too long, and the casualties among the farmers had not been possible to prevent...

After a wash and cleaning of his gear he found his bunk in the dorm, and felt asleep the moment his head touched the pillow. His dreams were filled with the screams of pain and horror of innocent farmers being slaughtered.

*Next morning a Novice from the Temple will deliver hot soup and fresh fruits to him at his dorm with the thanks and regards of the High Harvestmistress.*
