-Drow
-Any gender
-Sorcerer or Wizard levels or
some manner of casting skill or interest in magic lore
-The ability to contribute to research in a meaningful way.
Only wizards and sorcerers will reach the highest levels of Sorcere but whomever can contribute will be rewarded appropriately. Warlocks, Bards, PCs with a high Spellcraft skill and other casters will be included but have less magical versatility and so less opportunity for advancement.All young Wizards and Sorcerer are expected to join up so that they may learn their art under the teachings of their betters, while some may decide to go it alone, those that do join the Sorcere as is the normal, enjoy a wealth of benefits.
Ranks:Advancement up ranks is handled by DM, Masters can however give tests and report to npcs ect nominating a student for advancement, or a student can partition for self advancement.
Apprentices:Able to Cast: lev 1-3 Arcane Spells
Your character is just beginning to understand that there are greater forces at
work around him. He has learned to see and manipulate the Weave – to watch it and understand how it
works, he has learned to interact with magic, but only in clumsy and unfocused
ways. The Apprentice can manipulate the Weave through brute force of will, often creating interesting
effects but lacking in finesse or precision.
Faerns:Able to Cast: lev 4-7 Arcane Spells
Very few limits remain for you. You can change the very essence of the
things within your Weave. With a little preparation, you can do almost anything you can conceive of within
your field of study. There are still greater levels to strive for, Arch Mage powers you
can’t even dream of, but yet, you are a force to be reckoned with.
Masters:Able to Cast: lev 8-10 Arcane Spells
There comes a point when a Faern may leave his old preconceptions
about the Weave behind, realizing that the Weave is just another way to see reality. he
transcends beyond the common rabble and even his peers, becoming a true Master of the Arcane.
Not comes the greater task... Containing the ego which comes with just power, when faced with a young Yath'abban who can barely get a simple cantrip correct but dares to order you around?

Head In game and meet any of the Mages in game and say you would like to join, you will likely be assigned to someone as an apprentice, cue much fun rp!
Why should you join?Fun, Enjoyment, DM Plot, Player Driven Plot, Help with learning how to Enchant an Craft, Loaning of recipes and molds, climbing the ranks, amassing power, status and delving into Lost Histories, Forgotten Magics and hunting Relics!
