Murgol Taps on The Gates to Sorcere Empty
PostSubject: Murgol Taps on The Gates to Sorcere   Murgol Taps on The Gates to Sorcere EmptyMon Feb 24, 2014 5:02 pm

The hooded duergar wizard pauses just before striding the way up to the Academy square, as he has come to understand it's called. He consumes a potion of Eagle's Splendor and another of Greater Heroism before continuing. He asks a soldier to take him to the Sorcere, as he has a business proposition to make.
He gives the priestess to his left a brief glance, and looks at the altar while passing it. He feels the gazes of the priestesses burning on his back as he approaches the gates to the Sorcere.
He collects his thoughts as he waits for the soldier to knock on the gates.
If someone opens them and asks about his business, he will say that he wishes access to the library for a limited amount of time, and will pay for the service.

Murgol Taps on The Gates to Sorcere Empty

After persuading the guard, insinuating that a lost business opportunity might anger her superiors, the gates are opened and he enters the halls, which are thick with book shelves. A gleam of greed shines in his eye when looking at all the tomes.
The instructor harshly tells him to state his business, and he is demanded to pay a beljuril in exchange for being able to look at the books for half a cycle.
He starts scanning the geography section, and finds a book about the Deep Wastes with a page describing some interesting information on the Meazel Marshes. He also tasks the guard, whom complains about baby-sitting a duergar, to find him the shelf on extra-planar summoning and extra-planar travels.
Poring over the books till his time is up, his reading yields the following:
- The Deep Wastes might have contained a Deep Imaskaran settlement, and the book hints that such a settlement might have existed in the Meazel Marshes.
- The possibility of using gates, or colour pools, which can be found in random places or opened with a ritual, to travel to the Nine Hells.
He leaves the Sorcere, satisfied but still yearning for more.
