A Cyrycist in Shadowdale?!

Word spreads throughout Shadowdale that a Cyricist is on the loose. Farmers are advised to stand watch and stay indoors at night, and to mind their livestock.

As the news of a Cyricist is on the loose disturbing Shadowdale, Vincent departs his office to do what he can to visit with anyone who may be troubled by the news. Ensuring them that any and all Cyricists will be handled immediately and the safety of the farmers is the most importance to him and his fellow officials.

Once he'd make as many visits as he could, he'd call a gathering of his brothers and sisters in faith, informing all Helmites to double their efforts on watch and to keep a tight eye to ensure the safety of the town.

Curiosity would follow those who would catch the word on the wind, one such individual in particular being a recognizable redhead. From afar she observed, watching and waiting to see if the Cyricist might show themselves while assisting the farmer's with a few basic needs.

While seeing the recognizable red-head, Kendra would attempt to catch her and pull her aside to speak with her regarding the matter.

If the news reaches Karovir on the road he would nod and shrug: "Not the first time, no reason to freak out. If I see one I'll try to catch him or her."

After hearing rumours of a poisoned water supply from the mage Alander, Shahnaz would sniff carefully at the fountain trying to determine if any strange smell is due to contamination or something left over from when the Zhentarim occupied the place.

Imesah spends her spare time patrolling the roads and surrounding farmland. She is usually seen patrolling at night. She is accompanied by a handful of the Dawn-Knights stationed in Shadowdale.

Ahri can be seen walking about with her blade at her side, day and night. If she sees anything suspicious, she immediately alerts the guards.

Guards seem to have been strengthened near various strategic points in Shadowdale, including the wells. Mixed units can be seen - militia patrolling with the more experienced knights.

Elven rangers were also seen leaving the town - perhaps patrolling the woods.

Despite the rumors and warnings, no new Cyrcist threats seem to manifest. The adventurers attempting to root out the source find nothing out of the usual, or as usual as things get for Shadowdale.
