With some haste Ticla jumps out of the Caravan to Freehaven and slips into the entrance. At the rogue's hideout she slips into her slave tunic and walks the Underground street as she had done so for years; A nervous look always staring downward as Freehaven's citizens would pass her. But as nervous she may look, there was a destination to where she walked.
The ruling counsil of four had to be warned. But would they listnen to her? Here in Freehaven they saw her as nothing but an insignificant slave, and perhaps she was just that. But one with an urgent report. So she ran forth as quick as her bare feet could move her to the entrance of the Dancing Humonculus.
As she walked the long hallway of the Thayan hotel, a deep fear took ahold of her. The patterns of the carpets on which she walked had that familliar feel on her feet, the smells of Eltabbar parphumes and spices that came from the restaurant. Thayan traders making deals with hooded men in black garbs, and the Brown-to red colors of the Humonculus. Yes, she was back where Thayan culture stood proud.
At the end of the hallway there sat Headmistress Zaldra, reading calmly like she always did. Fearfully Ticla approached. Her walking pace became a hesitant shuffling until she stood almost next to Zaldra.
"Headmistress, I beg of you a moment of your time," Ticla said in a soft and respectfull tone.
A bow of her head and hands folded Ticla greeted the Headmistress. Because it was known Zaldra was one of the members of the ruling counsil of Five, she represented the Thayan Traders. So warning the counsil was best done through the Headmistress of Freehaven. Only Zaldra knew Ticla vaguely as she had served in the dancing Humonculus as a slave for quite a while.
As Zaldra would spare a moment of her time to listnen to Ticla;
(DM's choose if Zaldra would listnen or send Ticla away)Ticla would warn Zaldra of the Plague in Shadowdale, and of the urgency to put up security measures in keeping Freehaven clean of the plague. Ticla would also speak on how she was cured by Julia the Harvestmistress with a Dissmeal (sp?) spell, and obediently Ticla would offer herself be examined by any of the Mages or Priests in Freehaven.
While she speaks to Zaldra, Ticla couldnt help to keep her gaze down, or even half-averting her gaze from the Headmistress of the dancing humonculus. There was a deep fear within Ticla still of any Free, and espcially those Thayans with a position of power. Those with the power to treat slaves like her as mere assets of their wealth. The slightest sign of disrespect could mean dire consequences.
But it didnt stop Ticla from warning Freehaven, and especially her Thayan kin, no matter what her station in Thayan culture was. She still knew her place and duties, and had no shame in showing her fear for those above her while also with pride coming forth and bringing this urgent warning.
With an insecure look in her bright, green eyes Ticla awaits Headmistres' Zaldra's reaction.
