Reunion Quest

Resolving to leave the safety of the Morning Farms and seek out missing loved ones, Provisional Interim Deputy Mayor Bryanna, and Embattled, Disgraced Councilor Cleophus arrive by wagon at the Crossroads.

Cleo would have questioned the Coachmen about various names on the list and given them the once-over with Sense Life, seeking sign of infection.

Cleo looks around carefully as he steps off the wagon.

"Pay the lady, Bryanna?"

Slowly, waiting for Bryanna to catch up, he proceeds toward East Shadowdale by way of Fox Ridge, keeping an eye out for straggling citizens who might have wandered or run from town.

Bryanna smirks at getting stuck with Cleo's bill, paying it in good humor before catching up to him.

"You know, me wearing this entire tin-can isn't going to be any use if you call me by name around folks who can pass on that I'm about. We need to keep my presence concealed lest some bounty-hunter hurts those we're trying to gather to help."

"So what you're saying is, your life is in my hands? Good to know." He looks at her, eyes twinkling.

"Don't worry. Your identity is safe with me. I'll just pretend you're some other seven foot tall female paladin."

Cleo unstraps Very Flat and his shield, as they climb Fox Ridge to face whatever they find.

"I"d need to wear stilts for seven feet, pretty-boy." Bryanna laugh's softly, preparing her own weaponry.
