A Missing Patrol

*Reserve Deputy Trip had wanted to talk to Deputy Mayor Kendra further about what could be done to help the 'salted farms' situation as well as being considered to represent Shadowdale to Myth Drannor. He asks around down town as to where she might be. Upon finding out her and Sheriff Reinhart are late to return from a patrol, he'd ask which way the patrol went and start tracking in that direction.*

*Trip would follow that route at first light and take Hawkley along if he chooses to come, to cover more ground. Trip would work to pick out Kendra and Sheriff Reinhart's tracks first and then follow them where they lead.*

Finding it odd that the Sheriff and Deputy Mayor have not returned from their normal patrol, Aryana Barsam begins looking around the edges of town, for any clues as to where they went. She would likely run into Hawkley and Trip during their search, at some point.

Though she might not encounter the trio searching, Ahri would enter town like a bleak wind, looking very very angry. She limps on her right leg, and there is blood on her robes, but she looks perfectly fine.

Hawkley would keep his masked hood close against his face as he searches for tracks. . The well rounded ranger would follow Kendras normal route, checking each broken twig, turned rock, and footstep he can find. . Always on the look for any deviations of thier foot steps . .

Bryanna had just been looking for someone to talk to, still troubled by her meeting with the elders when she went looking for Dacius. She had followed him out to the Edge of the Cormanthyr before loosing his trail. Disappointed and not trusting her emotional control she crossed the river and headed back through Shadowdale and out the West gate, to spend some time in contemplation and quiet. Unaware that the Dacius and Kendra were actually missing.

blue sends word to shadowdale..

I have received word deputy mayor Kendra and another I think Dacius has been captured by the zhentarium jack maybe.. I have tried sending a letter to negotiate their release but have no word from them.. By having no heard word from any one at krag I suspect this is no standard capture and may be more going on.. short of taking a few entire armies and storming the castle to rescue our friends there is little more I know at this time..

I invite you all to send letters asking for their release perhaps this will show the zhent scum how much they mean to us and what will likely happen if they are not returned unharmed in any way..

Elektra's messenger, Sen'Thia returns reporting the missing pair and being unable to deliver her message to Kendra.
"Great Shiney shitt-0-Shar ! ", Elektra exclaims hearing the news. She rubs her head a moment then speaks from under her long messed hair.

" hells ... Ok... Send Alasha'Ur scouting from cross roads , to Beastmen lands, and south into the Orclands... I want to know if there is anything ... Any clue ... Of YET ANOTHER abduction. Do even patrols need escorts now??? Twisted Toes of Tempus , tell Alasha'Ur no engaging , scouting stealthed only!"

The teifling listens to her instructions, nods , quietly and heads out ... Coming to Beastmen lands, she fades into shadows and watches for clues.

Rumors soon spread among the people that now that Bryanna is no long deputy Mayor, the sheriff and Kendra missing no one is in charge of the town. A few ask where Taeron is or if someone else is stepping up. No word from the Elders has been heard yet.

The Enchantress Shahnaz can be seen from time to time observing the goings on in town, seemingly unpreturbed by the lack of any form of governance.

She can also be seen having several discussions with the various merchants about the place.
