I really do not know what to say other than sorry.. I read all your responses and I want to say thank you for such kind words. Upon re reading my own anger. I felt that it was necessary to modify my words.

But I will calmly state this, If I ever get banned. It is nobody's fault but my own.  That goes not just for myself, but anyone. We owe the Staff alot, they sacrifice their free time, to help us to nurture our stories. and Yes, others help in this too. I know this, as I have had many of you help me better understand my own toons, Garren Smolder or Sophia Everheart.


So yes I left, and will I be back, I don't know. That all depends on ME. But I want to say thank you to everyone on Dalelands Beyond, for all the opportunities, all the Role play, and the unquestionable fun.

I'm not a Negative person, actually to be quite honest im the opposite most day, and a Very very good friend of mine, who I care about deeply said this to me recently

"Tom. I know you're a passionate guy and you struggle with emotions, but sometimes it's better to let things cool down"

And It took this and his Talking to me, to literally calm me down. and yes he plays here.

I am sad to see you go. I enjoyed watching your RP and talking to you playerside on occasion. As I once said good news is a rare thing in real life and you should celebrate it when you can. I hope you have more of it in the future and that it's brighter.

grats on the beating cancer I know its not an easy thing my dad has beaten it a 3rd time now so I fully know what you went through.. I hope you keep it beaten man keep up with making yourself happy and enjoying things it helps you in the fight.. and don't let people drag you down man.. learn from my mistake on that one..

i am sad to see you go I continuously watch good rpers leave and many friends I made in game leave the server.. each time this happens it hurts a bit more..

your a good guy your toons and rp as well as ooc chats will be missed my friend.. only a couple left now I bother to rp with anymore so no telling how long I will be around if they leave also..

Its a relative long road we had with diferent toons (from you mostly of course, hehe), and I'm happy for you winning such important thing IRL - the real things are always what really matter.

Well it's sad to see you go over the areas you built, Kaalos. We had a few great chats about the Electron engine and YATT on Skype many months ago. Havent rp'd with you much, but thats my silly timezone. Hope you find a great place to Build for again.

Remember our Toolset hobby should never be spoiled by whiney individuals who do not appreciate your hard work on them. It's sadly a trend in this community where builders get heat over the areas they make. I had my share of that too and it's rather frustrating to say the least yes.

So I understand you're leaving, Be well from a fellow Builder. =)

I know how you feel Kaalos I felt unwelcome on this server for a long time now and that's why I don't play on DB now, too. I hope you can relax some and you know that real life has greater problems to solve than a few people who can't behave and lie to each other . I am pretty sure you will give the server a try some time again and maybe I will, too.

This is why haters remain haters. Such labels are given out too easily and if someone is labeled no one cares to do something about it. And don't forget the phenomenon of self fulfilling promises: Label someone as hater --> he/she will hate. Find out the reasons for the hate (or if it is actually hate) and do something. If it's hate only for the purpose of hating then do something, too. Talk to them or ask a DM to mediate (And DMs, if a player tells you they have problems with other players then I suggest you mediate and don't ignore it).
If nothing helps then one can always just leave.

Oh, don't let them bother you. Never let those with negative attitudes effect your love for the game! I hope you reconsider leaving and report them instead. Doesn't seem very fair at all to you.
