Journey to the ancient site of the Standing Stone

The traveling towering elven mage of sun-elf heritage otherwise known as Lord Aureco of House Arivaela'ruar makes the journey to the site of the Ancient Standing Stone, said to have been born over millennia ago near the intersection of Rauthauvyr's Road and the Moonsea Ride; halfway between Blackfeather Bridge and Hillsfar. If there were any dangers on the way of the mage he stuck to his own, either by taking detours away from the hostiles or simply fading out of sight with invisibility spells; let alone traveling with the Ethereal Plane and with Haste Spells that lasted him days.

Either way when the towering elven mage reaches the site, or what he believes to be the site, he searches for the ancient monument. Why he is there it is anybody's guess.

Aureco would arrive at the site of the Standing Stone.. the journey only taking a few days (//sorry was away and didnt see this thread until now).

The Standing Stone stands at the intersection of the Moonsea ride and the Rauthavyrs Road.

The Stone moss covered as it is.. still bears the original text of the Dales Compact forged centuries ago:

While there is a Tel'Quessir within the forest, the men of the Dales may settle the Cleared Lands around us. This stone and the Pact of Peace between our Peoples shall crumble if ever the Dalesman willingly reduce the woods or invade the lands claimed by the Tel'Quessir

he would notice a discernable crack leading from the top down until the middle of the ancient Stone.

Aureco approaches the ancient stone and a nostalgic look waves through his face as he stands upon one of the sites where High Magic was performed by the people of old. He moves with his left hand to brush along the stone and its text, more importantly traces a finger along the crack upon the stone. The elven mage closes his eyes and reopens them afterwards, moving to sit down and relax his body. Perhaps the elf sought to see and verify that which was already clear from the beginning, but he also wanted to set foot upon that once-long historical landmark site.

He promptly dives into reverie....

The next day, Aureco abandons the historical site with little else to do, he was there, and verified what he sought, more importantly, satisfied his own curiosity.

Arriving upon the site of the of the now fallen Ancient Stone, the towering hooded and cloaked figure brushes his hood down and allows his copper hair to roll down to about shoulder length, green eyes looking forwards towards the cracked artifact that was once proud sign of the opening of elven ties with humanity, now but a sad memory from near millenia ago; ruined within the last sad two years or so by strife and greed within the Shadowdale denizens. The male scholar would kneel down upon the cracked stone and quietly go into meditation and prayer; communing with the historical site and the nature around it.

After several days of communing with the ancient site, the elven male was gone.
