Zhentarim Recruitment Flyers

Posters begin going up around Krag and the surrounding lands, stamped with the fist of Bane upon them.

They read:

"The Zhentarim needs more soldiers! Fight for Bane, bring his Fear upon others, and be rewarded by the Black Hand with power and prestige! His Church is always recruiting, as is his Army! Come to the Dread Lord's seat of power in the Dales, and begin your server to Bane!"

Mark grabs one of the fliers writing something on the back and attaches it to a rock that he throws to a Zhentarim patrol before running away clearly not in the mood for a battle.
"When you say spread his fear do you mean his fear for me? I remember your petty Black Fang getting beaten on the docks, oh, fun times then but now she hides away in her Castle too afraid come down here and bring me to "justice"
The only dread thing about your pathetic lord is the ammount of idiots under his command, make the right choice, leave the army but before that delivers this to The Black Fang, Leonna Von Grimn or something like that, I am sure she will be happy to hear that Jack is an incompetent jackass.

He then heads to the crossroads where he vandalizes any unprotected flyers writing every single despicable thing he has witnessed the Zhentarim do.
"Child killers, innocent murderers, petty thieves, rapists, cowards, idiots, torturers"
And when he is finished he patrols the crossroads in search of any isolated Zhentarim posting them up.

If they bear the mark of the Zhentaril, (as they appear to from the OP) then Shah'in will wait until no one is around, exit the trees or cover, and tear the notices down. She would so this near Cormanthor, the Crossroads and North Ride, as well as Shadowdale Plains.

*Ravossel takes thees posters down, and burns them when she comes across of them. Once dun Ravossel pulls out the nails, and heal's the wound on the tree.*

Any flyers posted at the two-forts near the Hound's Compound would be removed. If the archers on the walls spotted the one posting them they'd shout "Bugger off, this is Hounds land, recruit on yer own turf!"

One of the Swordhands takes the flier carrying rock to the helmet, and immediately all of the others and him turn in the direction it was thrown. They don't chase after him, and instead just make bunch of rude gestures and call his mother names. The man who was hit opens up the flier to read the message on it, and just grins, licking the paper. "Hey boys, tastes salty...like tears." All the Swordhands crack up laughing and then continue on their patrol, some still making catcalls in the direction Mark fled.

As Mark goes back to patrol the Crossroads, he finds no isolated Zhentarim posting fliers, and he finds no new fliers. Apparently, whoever is putting them up is smart enough to wait until he is gone, or asleep.

In other areas that aren't being diligently patrolled, new fliers would pop up every now and then. If the man posting these is called out by the Hounds Fort, he would do much like the Swordhands did with Mark, and make a rude gesture or two before fleeing the scene before he could be retaliated against.
The scoundrel moves unnaturally fast, having magical aid of some sort.

* Unable to resist rapt having some fun, and tweaking the Zhents some more, Ravossel starts to put some of the funny HoR posters up.
Over were the old Zhent poster was, Ravossel puts this one up in it's place.



Then at seemingly random places, most defiantly were the Zhents will see it, Ravossel also puts this one up.



Ravossel uses a sticky tree sap base resin like glue, in order to glue the posters up.

Elric would burn any Zhent flyers he finds in the edge of the cormanthor.

* If any of the house posters are burnt/taken down Ravossel simply puts up new ones, as she come across a spot that should have one. With a soft laugh*

*Crypto personally replaces any recent Zhent posters that he comes across on Misty Falls lands with these ~ which are being made somewhere in the basement of the HoR.*

A couple of the House posters are taken by Mark on one of his walks and smiles reading them and putting them inside a pocket.

Amused, Zadiakis pops open a bottle of wine and watches people put up and take down fliers. Occasionally cheering on those who do so with zeal.

Zihark travelling about the lands on his own business would occasionally stop and gaze at the handfuls of people shuffling about and constantly pinning posters, tearing posters, mending posters and whatever other poster related activities they seemed to be doing. He would watch them, not interacting in any way whatsoever. A small mutter would escape under his breath after he witnessed some number of these activities. "What a strange hobby to fill their time."

* Seemingly at a Radom time, Ravossel Stops putting up, and taking down posters, and flyers, as more problems pop up. *

Sherol Cain takes one of them and carefully fold it before putting it in his pocket. ((New player here, ain't sure if I could join next monday, but Sherol will definitly join the Zhentarim sooner or later))

At the crossroads, a familiar figure would be seen lurking. She wears long elegant dresses of black, plum or silver, a pair of ornate silver pendants that hang from a plum colored string seem to be the only constant to her attire aside from the pair of handaxes at her hip. She can be seen perched above the path along the rover at the Crossroads, high upon the adjacent hills as she simply watches the on goings. When she does wander, she only seems to frequent places where Natalya's caravan passes, eyeing the flyers and any Zhent patrols she might happen upon. Should she come across the ones posting the flyer, she'd merely stop and stare. Arms crossed, she'd remain silent, her face hidden by mask and shadowed hood.

After two days of this, she'd be seen again, a basket of broad silver ribbons hooked on her arm as she'd wander her usual route. In her wake, trees, posts and bushes would be left with gentle silvery decoration, the ribbons fluttering gently in the breeze. She'd especially take special care to place ribbons near or on any and all Zhent adverts she found. Her quiet, muffled laugh could sometimes be heard past the various masks she chose to wear during her work.

Once again, Zhentarim flyers can be found across the land, and their patrols are becoming more bold, though they retreat in the face of a greater foe.
