Defense of Shadowdale West Woods

(( just found out oocly or would have made this a whole lot sooner. ))

*After Ravossel, Lhanir, and Colt had there meeting conserving the state of the woods. With the talks pretty much gone no place, and every one having gone septet ways. Ravossel heads into West Shadowdale woods, be for taking on a treant forum, and with brush of her hand a near by oak tree turns into a treant as well. With Donnleen at there side the tree focus at keeping the undead, and the wood cutters/lumbers jacks out of the woods.*

*And with each wood cutter/lumber jack or human, one of the treant make it know rather clearer that they wish to speek to commander Asha..*

An additional pair of treeants would be seen in the area of lumber jacking, accompanied by a large black panther.
The larger of the treeants, if encountered would threaten any lumber jack and would not back down, with an almost fanatic hostile tone.
Such phrases might be heard:
"Ye strike tha foorest , and tha foorest'll strike you doown and roots 'll eat yer boones dry!"
If Lhanir enters the area, this trio would flee.

An old man with short grey hair, grey bread and with a eye path other his left eye would walk out to investigate the rumors of walking trees, dressed in simple leather armor and a thick leather travelers coat that hid the belt with an aray of weapons and tools of his trade, walking slowly towards the spot where the rumors said the walking trees would show up, the old man stands then, lights his pipe and waits.

New construction orders are sent to the Tentacus crafts men who already clear cut trees almost two months ago.

Tall powerful oaks stood silent other than breezes rustling leaves and occasional creaking of branches. The weathered bark would appear thick to the trained eye. Blended in with the twisted and rough surface of the trunk , high enough to be partly hidden by well placed branches , two pieces of bark would slowly seperate , showing a dull , wooden orb, that might appear as a knot in the wood... Or... an eye.

Leaves would partially obscure direct obvious exposure of the eye to the man nearby. The powerful Treeant would stand with the patience of the ancient forest , watching...

Malic would smile and call out. "Just so you know, I intend on sending out lumber jacks on night time stealth missions, armies of them, so you may want to increase your numbers and ever be watchful!"

and with that he turns around and wonders off with a smile, heck, unpaid defenders, defending that bit of land, that was great!

Eventually, after a time, Lhanir would approach the Ravossel from a path to the northeast, beside those that might be nearby that would be relating to the defense of the forest. "Perhaps it is best that you simply start destroying the building process and mold the stones as one. They don't seem to be learning much otherwise. A lesson needs to be taught here."

(Also, FFSDave, that link you sent is not in a public area, therefore it was not a publicly known act, and unfair to claim and expect that nothing would have been done about it from another end since it was not mentioned. If it was posted publicly I will begin to believe otherwise. That would be like me posting telling that I sent a tidal wave into Shadowdale but only posted it in the Circle section, but still claim it happened.)

No sooner than the man leaves, the Treeant begins to begin entwining branches, becoming more compact, twisting until it seems to be weaving the branches ... Balling itself up in a roll. The hair thickens into fur, as entwined branches reach the soil, forming into four legs, with long sharp claws at the end , forming from thorns. The dull wooden eyes wet and a sheen forms over deep red pupils.
In only moments more, the large mass shivers into the firm of a mass of muscles ... A dire bear.
It's heavy paws leaving obvious tracks as its weight crushed the grass and soil beneath.
The lumbering creature comes to the spot the man stood ... And sniffs the scent ... to identify him ( survival / tracking 30 ).
Nostrils flaring , the moist nose takes in the scent of the man... Bringing forth a stream of thick drool that slips to the ground from its mouth.
Fangs flashed as its tongue licked at the air.
With a language of mixed Sylvan and Abyssal , it commanded the black panther and the Treeant nearby , to mercilessly attack and shred any that came opposing them.
The dire bear would then rush off out of plain view, obscuring itself as best it could. Then upon the breeze , casting phrases might be heard, as the beast grew in size, power, agility, with magical flames sparking at the end of its claws... It's fur taking on the hardness of stone...

*Ravossel sighs softly*, I much rather not cast the first stone, I much rather seek as many paths as I can to resolves this, be for it turns into a battle.*Ravossel looks up at Lhanir with hope in her eyes, and a week smile.* I'll not stop you from twisting the wood they gathered, and the stone into some thing els.

(As such it is still important to make it something publicly known if you intend to tell us otherwise that it has occurred to show the legitimacy of an action. Without proof or justification we aren't able to respond properly if we can't see that something happened.)

During the dark of night, the Arch Druidess would approach beside Ravossel, urging her to follow. She moved forward towards the small bridge situated between the two dug trenches and called out in a warning to those that would still foolishly sit within them. "If you wish to leave with your lives, do so now."

Seconds after, she would begin to recite the spell of Deadly Lahar, conjuring forth a wave of lava to spill across the bridge and through the trenches.

(( There are many things that would have tipped a Druid off to mass deforestation. Like distressed animals seeking shelter, Dryads - Pixies - Treants - other feys seeking aid, and even possibly nature spirits. ))

*Ravossel Dose not like this, and puts her on edge, but as long no one was there, Ravossel stands as a look out in the forum of a Dire Wolf.*

The casting of that spell would draw immediate attention of the dire bear!
Red eyes would instantly gaze towards the caster , followed by a backward leaning crouch , as if reviled at the presence of the arch Druid . The fate of the forest faded quickly from the creature's concern.
A gripping fear shot through the creature, well aware of what might only be moments away.
The face of the creature turned skyward , as winds began to swirl around it... It's flesh streaming off into the tempest like strands of smoke... But suddenly , the beast lept into the air. In a funnel tornadoe , it flew apart and became the raging wind, flesh spinning into thin air!
The tempest blasted through the trees and destroyed the other Treeant , shattering it to dust. The raging wind swirled about the black panther obscuring it from all sight... And the cat was gone... Dust, leaves, twigs and insects blew across the land towards the forest ... Into the trees ...and away....

Iwean continue to shadow Lhanir providing security for the Arch Druidess. (sorry I missed the first post of this)

After hearing rumors of things happening near her guild, Wondering along, somewhat drunk, a female Tiefling wearing a black tricorn, leathers and a beast plate would come to a stop and look at the show being put on, looking at the cooling larva and and to the at the people in different forms, the Tiefling would look at the bottle in hand shrug before Downing the last of it before parking her arse in the floor by the bridge and grinning as she reaches into her pack and pulls out another bottle. "Soooo I av tag be, hic, asking, what's all this fuss that is ah be ah, hic, happening on tah steps of me guild, what as, hic, I missed? Oh names Nadia by the way, prospect of tah guild you all is erassing." She says in a oddly playful way before having another drink. In the event the druids were gone by now, the drunk tiefer was talking to a normal tree.... In the way crazy drunk people do.

Aware of something following, the raging wind would spiral into a clump of trees, where , hidden from sight, swirl down into the form of a human. . . an old woman, with long gray hair, hanging wild to her hips. Her face , once beautiful, now only held traces of what had been , years ago. Green vines tattooed across her cheek bones, curling up around her green eyes. Old, slightly faded eyes gazed out, with a fierceness more characteristic of much younger folk.
Her body , lean and strong, she stood alone in the trees, until a soft calm overcame her. . the ancient patience of their spirits slowing her heart.
Once fully relaxed inside, she would step forth to face this one who was trailing her. . . ready to summon forth the very forces of nature to her side.

Seemingly ignored by the others Nadia Would grunt before muttering something that was like a curse. Sleeping slowly standing up Nadia would again look directly at the people shapeshifted, seem to have a vision that saw their true form, she would call out again, this time with a bit of irritation in her voice. "I'll ask one last time Then, the who are all you lot, and why are you causing trouble for me guild?" Those with the ability to sense or detect magic, would be able to tell this female was positively flowing in it, though, the weaving of the magics would look very very odd.
