Defense of Shadowdale West Woods

From the foreman's tent Wester appears and looks to the commotion. As some of the Tentacus construction crew would indicate what just occurred he would proceed and check on the destruction caused.

The woodsman Hawkley would stay hidden in the shadows. Keen eyes peering out at the outcome of the event. His bow clutched tightly in his hand.

How there would have been any amount of commotion bringing in more made little sense to the Arch Druidess. Ignoring the outright absurdity of those women she was not affiliated with nor cared to express her actions to, Lhanir gave her attention to Ravossel for a brief, final moment as she murmured lowly. "I suspect you're needed elsewhere now, sister. There is nothing for us here, and if the undead arrive tomorrow then Shadowdale will be the only one handling it for now."

With a nod to those lurking in the shadows, specifically the two male archers, she turned to depart. There was no reason to linger.

"Not so fast my dear" Wester approaches and points toward the small guard house.

"There is an official document there noting that this territory is Shadowdale land.  I already informed you once before that if you had a problem with construction here, to take it up diplomatically with the elders.  But now you have gone and done something foolish."

"I see three counts of criminal activity.  One. Disrupting the Peace.  Two. Unauthorized Use of Magic.  And three. Destruction of Property."

"Now from the look of it, it's superficial, but I won't know the extent of it until I get a better look at it at dawn"

"Until then I am arresting you on these criminal charges.  Yield and come with me Archdruid into custody.  You'll be detained there until a filed reported is finished and criminal fines paid!"

He gives her a sly look "Do have a look around at all these witnesses.  I am sure you are very wise and don't want to extend these charges to resisting arrest and murder.  Otherwise you'll find out why they call this area Hangman's Knoll"

The masked ranger Hawkley; Quickly notches two arrows onto his bow, likely unseen by all but the Archdruidess. Making his way closer to the side of Wester, the bow is quickly pointed in the militia mans direction. The shadows continuing to cover the man in their dark embrace. (Hide 82/MS 82)

His eyes hardening, he would look to Lhanir.. Then to Ravo.. Awaiting the next move.

(( if any pvp happens I think it would be best to arrang a time everyone involved can make it in game and finish this))

(I'm fine with PvP in game if there is time to assemble everyone.)

"I have disrupted no one, destroyed nothing, nor affected Shadowdale. Consider this a harmless warning, Wester, that you do not further desecrate the land while it is still in need."

She assumed the form of a silver dragon, growing massively in size, and looked between the man and then Ravossel, then the shadows beyond with large, molten eyes. "If you have a true concern with this, you will consider consulting with those you work for, and see just how lost this place is without ours and the elves' help," she rumbled deeply.

The fearless paladin doesn't even flinch at her shape change, in fact he remains steadfast and diplomatic. "Know that I reasoned with you arch druid, you have already lost this battle unless you plan to murder all 170 of us in cold blood." Waves her away dismissively "Be gone with you and know that this act of aggression from your kind will be brought before the Elders and our allies. May the gods have mercy on you!"

Another low rumble vibrated out from her chest. "Your allies have dwindled. The remaining Elders are fools. Save your strength for the undead, and the inevitable takeover of this town by those that would desire to lay their hammer upon it. I will be watching without pity."

With that, she turned, finally departing.

Watches her fly off into the night sky, knowing he just averted bloodshed on a mass scale. He turns to the work crew. "Alright, shows over. Call it a night and get your rest. We'll sort out the damages at dawn."

(( Pleas note only the Arch Druid would know it was Ravossel for she was/is in Wolfe forum, and once the spell was done there would have been little to no need for her to be around any more. The odds would be good that by the Rime Wester is out there Ravossel would have all ready left, to move onto other things. ))

The old woman ... Rana Rue. ..would watch this whole scene with a mix of emotions. . .  supporting the arch druid was very conflicting for her. .but. .the health of the forest was everything over all else. After the Archdruidess flew off in dragon form. ..  Rana would turn to regard the woman who had followed her.
There was something strangely familiar about this person. . . so much like Ylia, Rana's daughter, it brought up old and deep emotions.. . and a rare moment came to the bitter heart of stone. . . tears welled up in the old eyes. . .

With that, he takes up guard on the site - under standing order to take down anyone who attempts to cause harm to the site again. ((If he gets hostile company, he would fight to knock them out))

Rana would look upon Ivy for a long moment. . . sadness in the old eyes would reveal a deep loss and pain. . but. .soon. .this demeanor would seem to harden. The old eyes becoming as cold as stone. A boney finger raises up , as her head tilts to one side. . . with one eye bearing down on the young woman. Words that came forth were spoken through teeth that showed as something between a hateful smile and a grinding of teeth.
