A largish notice on the board

An inkstained Sordoc can be seen with some difficulty posting a large parchment up on the notice board.

"The map of the dales is now available. Please note due to some less interesting areas some places have been omitted. Of note, the blue routes represent trails where the chances of being accosted between areas of interest are low, Red routes represent trails leading to the Daggerhills, tavel these routes at your own safety. Yellow routes represent ways into the lands governed directly by the Elves of Myth Drannor. Orange routes represent the ferry between the Ironhold and the far side of the river. Green Routes represent the inner area of the territory of the zhentarim.

If there is a mistake please leave a message with the inn keeper with the number of the area of interest with the mistake and details of the mistake. Updates to the map will be made if and when new areas of interest become available. Sordoc's Sales does not accept responsibility for loss of limbs, coin, life or items in the event of a mistake of the maps. Please use responsible and at your own reguard. Side effects may include dizziness, confusion, general feelings of happyness and possible death by arrow poisoning."

A few moments later, Sordoc walks upto the Shadowdale Goverment office and leaves behind a large parcel, containing several copies of the monster map and numbered map. The parcel also contains a small note.

"To Shadowdale, I hope these maps come in useful, though I will try to keep the updated ones delivered as soon as possible.
From Sordoc the gnome."

This will help me alot as I'm so forgetful and can never remember which goes where! By chance do you have the legend?

* OOCnote: A legend is being worked on, if you want to submit descriptions for each of the "places of interest" with notes on interesting parts of each map, I'd be more then happy to set up the Shadowdale Travel Guide"

Eleranil looks at the finished map, then grabs a large roll of parchment out of his bag and holds it up to the one on the board.

"Hm. I missed some areas." He thinks to himself.

After a few more moments of comparison he would place his map back in his bag and move along.

The old map is taken down and replaced with a new map, along with a list and note.

"To all those writing folk, as you can see my maps are a little under-described, perhaps you can choose to give each area of interest a proper description. Be it serious, be it comical, that is up to you. Send all notes and such to the Skull Inn, addressed to Sordoc (ooc note or PM Gorebash). Also I'll be buying any maps of Myth Drannor and it's sovereign territory to improve the grand map, state your prices on any notes.

The maps are replaced with a newer larger waterproofed map. Along with a note attached to the bottom.
