| (( Emily, as some know ICly and OOCly, is a young tiefling girl living at Ironhouse under the care of her adoptive parents, Maura Zephyros and Kalthanar Demascus. Mineva Anjali has also taken it upon herself to act as a secondary caretaker (earning herself the title "Auntie Mineva"). Through a recent conversation between KoA, Vox, and myself, the idea for this thread was born. This is a place for antics and shenanigans involving Emily and her interactions with others.
 Original artwork by Lihony- Background and Description:
Background: Emily was originally an NPC created by Vox for a personal event for Kalthanar many months ago (approx. Fall of 2014). A victim of a slaving ring, Maura and Kal successfully freed her along with many others. As she had never seen another tiefling before, she quickly bonded with Kal. She showed herself to be a brave and willful little girl despite her painful start in life and so the odd couple decided to give her a home. The following are some established behaviors, facts, and personality quirks:
- Her education has been primarily from a private tutor that Kal and Maura have hired. Her reading skills are lacking, but she'll get there.
- She has been learning to dual-wield kukris and often practices on the dummies in IH when she gets bored.
- She is intelligent, energetic, and imaginative. Often going on elaborate "epic adventures" (e.g. The Haunted School and the Mysterious Tome)
- Adventurers don't "shoosh" apparently. They kick down doors while traversing dangerous places.
- She does refer to Kal and Maura as "Dad" and "Mom".
Description: ~10 years old, red-hued skin, spaded tail, two large horns (and nubs on her forehead implying she'll grow more as she gets older), pointed ears, glowing red eyes, and [insert her hair color here].
P.S. Vox, if I got anything wrong (like her hair color, which I can't remember), please feel free to correct me.
