An Uncomfortable Halfling Visits

Clad as ever in her black robes and her low, dark cowl, Zazieri slinks into Myth Drannor. She walks with her charmed lantern kept up, and makes her way to several places throughout the city. Her first stop is the Traveler's Star, to do the stereotypical thing and ask for suggestions from the bartender, and to ask any of the adventurers that might pass through if they knew of the rod of metal and mineral detection.

Next, she visits the merchant and auctioneer near the slime-infested well, asking them the same, and inquiring about the possibility of importing such. Failing that, she'd go deeper into the city, doing her best to avoid attention from the guards - because she is so tired of a certain bridge guard asking her what her business in the city is! Within, Zazieri would seek out the market amidst the trees and hills, to ask the blacksmith, general merchant, and the mages within the building.

In the travellers star she would call the atention of a sun elf - A Rod to detect minerals? Wow, this would be really usefull but I never saw such thing. Who craft this? Oh, my manners, I'm Eldruin, merchant, adventurer and always curious. *the sun elf grins*

Zazieri reaches maximum discomfort. She doesn't care to be approached, but would rather do the approaching herself. She lets the sun elf ramble a little and keeps an eye on the exit, ready for any excuse to continue to the merchants she's familiar with.

"Zazieri," she introduces herself awkwardly. "I don't know who crafts them. I'm looking for one for a medical experiment."

You want heal a golem? Eldruin seems confused but follows her as she moves to the exit

". . ."

The halfling gives Eldruin a flat look. "It's a private matter, thank you. I just need to know where I can acquire a device of this kind. Do you happen to know, or...?"

the elf doesnt apparently notice the flat look as he seems to already ponder about other thing Well, well, it happens I know a lot of things, but I dont know of anyone here that has such a rod. Did you tried ironhouses already?

"Why would I ask the residents of a no magic zone if they have a magical item?"

Zii slinks towards the next gathering of merchants just down the road, to question the auctioneer and general merchant.
