Ivaris makes his way into the city. He greets Laura enthusiastically and gives her a friendly hug. He seems in a much better mood than he appeared in Shadowdale.

"I'm so glad to see you again Laura, how have you been?"

Laura looks tired, but that disappears once she sees Jonah and Ivaris have entered the city. She runs to them, and embraces them.

"I'm glad you've decided to come! It is good to see you." There was a slight pause when Ivaris asked how she was doing and she smiled. "I'm doing better than either than you. I haven't...seen, it yet." She changes the subject. "I was worried by your last letter, we decided it may be best if you stayed here in the city."

She looked down to Zii, and bowed her head in greeting. "Hello Miss Zii, I hear you have taken over the healing efforts in town...how is everything?"

Zazieri kind of shuffles out of the way of all the hugging, and just sets one hand on the opposite arm as she watches the reunion. The immediate shift from friendly with Ivaris to formality with her earns a response rather lacking enthusiasm.

"It's fine."

A pregnant elven woman who happens to pass by would look on the newly arrived, hers is a considerably sizable womb she carries wrapped under her left arm; she observes them for a while before she goes on her way towards the south-eastern woods, beyond the flowering and towering tree of gold.

"Be grateful for that, so how goes your efforts? I heard what you were trying to do and I was wondering if you've had any success yet?"

He shifts a bit on his feet as he nods and smiles to the pregnant woman.

"I suppose I could spend a few days here, but I'm not going to hide in this bubble like a coward. If something wants me, then I'm going to face it. Either I stand or fall, running and hiding isn't an option."

Jonah steps gingerly off the boat, and joins in the greeting. He is quiet, and tired as well, and simply listens for a bit. He nods at Ivaris' last comments.

"Even the gods need to rest from their efforts, Ivaris. No one is asking you to run. I asked you here to give your mind and soul a short rest, so that you could renew your battle in full health.

"I am somewhat dismayed that it took a rumor flying around this of all places;" He gestures around Myth Drannor; "to finally discover why you have been acting so strangely toward me." He says with a frown.

"Sorry about that."
