I Wanna Rock

To most, things would appear as they normally do. To those with very keen eyes, every so often one would find what appeared to be rocks with a light black paint on them. It is drawn into a random symbol that would likely have no meaning to anyone.



For whatever reason, someone is just spreading around the silly rocks here and there. There is no pattern.

Areas they would be found are:

Crossroads, near the boat at the Edge of Cormanthor, Shadowdale Woods, Fox Ridge.

If they are collected or washed away, efforts would be taken to replace them.

Sure enough, someone does begin to remove the painted rocks.  Most are simply tossed into the nearby tributary to the Ashaba... or skipped across it, rather.  Others, however, are displaced... placed within the Forest of the Dead, at various points along the North Ride, and a few just East of the town of Shadowdale, just out of sight of the guards.  One of the stones is repainted with black, the vandal's crude hand making a simple frowny face.

Seeing most of the rocks she placed disappear, the woman shakes her head with a small smile under her mask. Another couple of rocks are placed, one by the docks of the Crossroads, and she places herself quietly upon the rock across from the dock.

Most would see no one.

Those with blindsight or true seeing would see a masked, disguised figure sitting up straight on the rock, simply waiting.

As he is often coming and going from the Academy, and after some recent events keeps truesight up more often than not, Jerrek would most likely spot the woman.

Provided Jerrek doesn't mess with her amazing pet rock collection, she will pay him no attention.

Corky, shifted into her usual wild boar form, would come across one of these rocks in Fox Ridge and curiously sniff at them. "Ooo... What's this now?" she'd think to herself. With an excited squeal, she gleefully prances off to find more of these funny rocks and perhaps sniff out the one who placed them.
