| Through the deep chasm of Freehaven; or what's left of it, resounds sometimes a poem, a melanchonic song. Bringing back the days of Dancing Shadows, and of masks too many to count that were painted. Hanging on threads all across the deep chasm where Darkness lies as an inpenetrable lake of nothingness. Down in the Deep Chasm of Freehaven
She first came to me
Tempted with Mysterious Puppets and a Painted mask
Begged "follow me, and watch my theatre Show"In the Chasm down below
The Shadow puppet player seduced me
The pit was warm and sweet
The smoke made me dreamGlowing Silver-haired ShadowKyss
She's by my side
Holds the hourglass for me
While the fumes rob my mindShe stays with me when I rest
Carresses me and cuts my chest
Makes me suffer in hazes of blue
Glowing Silver-haired ShadowKyss has no cureThe illness slowly does the deed
She sings to me, begs not to weep
Glowing Silver-haired ShadowKyss, the last I seeDeath is beautiful and bittersweet! | |
