Lady in Red

She ventures back to the Dales from just northeast of Baldurs Gate.  The Citadel of Strategic Militancy had sent her back.  She needed the Dales as much as they needed her.  She stopped in Shadowdale and was saddened by the state of affairs.  She traveled a few days to Myth Drannor to see old friends.....they were gone.  She made her way to Rimwood where the Royal Oak once stood....said her goodbyes to her lost home and to the memories she once shared there with a barbarian.  She finally made her way to the Dancing Moon. New memories will be made here....but first she needs a job.

"Barkeep, will you inform Arjay that Mara Brinsbane is seeking his audience.  Hopefully he will have need of what I can offer. And I'll take an ale if you don't mind"

Hork enters the bar, "LADY MARA!" Is heard bellowing from the doorway to the rooms. Barely able to restrain himself from giving her a big hug.

She looks up from her ale with a grin It's great to see you as well my friend!

*Hork begins fussing about encouraging the staff to make sure Lady Mara is comfortable.* "Do you have a room? is everything ok? what do you need? Where are your guards? Should you be traveling alone?" Blushes momentarily, "Sorry I'm just so happy to see a friend of Lady Cadence, I miss her so much."

"Oh Hork, I miss her too. Yes I have a room and everything is wonderful. I have need of nothing and you should know I have no need of guards. It truly is good to see you my friend. And you? How have you been? Are you well? Tell me what has been happening in the last few years I have been gone."

She take a drink of her ale after asking the question. She seems very content to be here again.

"People fighting every where, Crossroads is dangerous fro Drow and Zhents. Misty Falls is going to close I think. There are dead things all over and sick animals with demons, This I not see only hear." Catches his breath and appears to be thinking. "Many other things I not remember."

She sets her ale down and looks to him.

"Well, it seems I came back at the right time.  A priestess is always in need at times like these. Perhaps I should take up my patrols again."

Picks up her mug and drinks down the contents. Sets it back down with a stern nod*

"I've been patroling the Rangers camp, Misty Falls, Crossroads and Dancing moon. I'm afraid Rimwood has changed alot."

She looks off into deep thought at the mention of Rimwood.

"Ah Rimwood, my former home. Makes me miss the Royal Oak. But new memories have to be made, correct?"

Once again the priestess of the Red Knight takes up her patrols. Through the Crossroads, on past Shadowdale, up to the Two Forts area. She stops in at Cruvens fort to see if he is home. She takes her rest there for the night.

"It's quite nice to sleep in an actual bed and not a bed roll on the ground."

Upon seeing Lady Sonya, Hork will excitedly greet her, "Lady Sonja, its so good to see you." And almost as if he forgot. " Oh but these are bad times to return, unless your ready to fight! The Darkies have gone to war with the Squishes. That's not why you have returned is it?

No far from where Hork and Sonya pass, a gnome stands with some sort of contraption that looks like a small telescope on a tripod. He keeps looking through the scope and adjusting a plum line that hangs on the side. Every so often, he jots down notes in a journal and mumbles to himself.
