Within the Cormanthor forest, not far from the Harper Hill's Edge, now lies a deep smoky crater that scars the forest where a glade once existed; the nearby remains of a now ruined encampment seem to indicate that some sort of feast was once held there. The air is heavy with the remains of burning wood and dead vegetation or lavender. The faint traces of magical residue are still present as the smoke rises onto the skies.

In one of her wanderings, a lone, elfin figure paused golden eyes warily inspectig the damage, and then any clues within, should it seem safe enough to step the damaged area. Sorrow fills her for the beauty lost, anger for what seems wonton destruction of the forest. Inspecting the damage, she searches for the clues to what caused it, sending prayers to her god for the swift healing of scar.
Though she is not so skilled as to know what sort of magic lingers, the traces of magickal energy worry her, and she lingered for a while, in her attmept to decipher even so much as whether it was the arcane or divine magic that did this.

The damage in the area seemed to have been caused by a large blast of magical surge, however there are traces as to a previous battle beforehand, there are loose arrows to be found about the scene, and marks of dire boars and dragon claws; whatever ended up in this disaster did not start it at first, the aftermath of the battle however remains the same.

A great deal of clearing and fertilization will definetely will be required as well as new seeds for plants to grow. A lot of new earth will be needed if the crater is to be leveled with the rest of the ground; needless say a lot of water and rains.

Iwean will explore the area looking for dirt to spread out. Not intending to level but cover the ground with soil for growing. After that he will go to the Grove to assess the supplies available and will begin the restoration as soon as supplies are gathered. Happy for the distraction from the Circle politics he can even be heard whistling.

Sordoc on one of his patrols, will head towards the area to investigate the disturbances, being somewhat wary of drow patrols and Myth Drannor patrols.

"Hmmph, Shoul' ha' come here earier... when tha reports come in."

He will wander round looking for any clues.

"Wha' in tha hells happened here... some sorta battle?"

Shira wanders upon the area and observes the destruction. Wrinkles her nose once, then walks off with a sentence on her lips perhaps quietly so only she would hear it, or a quiet remembrance to they who had caused all this:

"What you spend years building, someone could destroy overnight;
… Build anyway."

A colossal earth elemental can be ocasionally sighted carrying materials to close the crater, sometimes a water elemental or air elemental, as necessary, in a slow process - those with true seeing are able to discern a sun elf in wildshape. ((as ooc, a druid would know from where he can move natural elements without prejudice balance, thus I added the slow process))

In an even more slow process ocasionally some animals walk around defecating and spreading seeds and life.
(again same druid wildshaped)

The criminal gnome's presence is closely monitored from the shadows of the forest, albeit unknown to him for the time being.

The process of filling up the crate by mundane means is going to take several days, or weeks, depending how many are onto the task. The elemental begins the slow process of revitalizing the area, the fertilization slowly taking root bit by bit.

Seeing Sordoc Iwean will approach him, "Hello, How goes that giant golem project you were working on?" Looking up as the elementals arrive, " Well never mind looks like we don't need it."

Sordoc takes a small battered notebook from his pocket and licks his pencil and takes a few notes.

"Ah, Mornin'... had ta put tha' golem project on tha backfoot fer tha moment... too much werk ta do. Doin' some repairs ta tha land?"

He looks around writing a few notes on the elementals moving earth and rocks about.

"So any idea wha' caused tha damage in tha' furst place? Encroachment frum tha tainted forest? Zhentish territory claimin'?"

A few days after the incident, another presence starts appearing to help repair the damaged land: a female dire boar with rusty fur, accompanied by a smaller male boar and a small bluebird. Seemingly at the direction of the dire boar, the lesser boar and the bird help restore the land in any way they can. The female's demeanor seems somber, as if in mourning, while she works diligently to restore this place.

Iwean continues helping where he could. "I think the elementals can do the job just fine."

"Hmmm, seems ta be clearin' up well enough."

He looks over the piles of cleared up rubbish. Spying the remains of the boars, he speaks aloud.

"So... nah idea wha' happened, jus' maybe a large number o' dead piggies an' a big fight."

Scratching the head with his pencil.

"Why Do I get suspicions o' trubble... doubt Dhaerow eat tha' amout o' pork... Orcs mebbe... o' a third pack?"

Sordoc sighs.

"I really hope it ain't ano'er pack... got rid o' wun... tha' o'er two be a pain ta shift...."
