A new face within Castle Krags Domain

Enya seems to be in luck. Though some might say bad luck. Along the path, like every day, a well recognized to the locals- figure clad in black armor comes walking, with his usual confident swagger in his step. Clear in the intent that he expects any patrolman in his path to step aside post haste. At his side, an old looking dog clearly over ten years old walks heel, close to his side.
Seeing the new face, Malik takes a few step closer and takes a stand a few feet away from the robed woman, crossing his arms in a relaxed stance, his customary clawed black clergy gauntlets creaking slightly as he rests them against his own arms. After demanding a report from the sentry greeting her, and with an unbowed gaze, he looks her over, top to toe before letting those green orbs that make up his eyes wander back up over her form with scrutiny.

Malik speaks with his usual deep and commanding voice. It demands, more than it asks, even though he seems relaxed.

"Temple Aspirant you say? We could always use the extra healers to serve the Zhentarim, as for temple aspirant... That is a topic for a more private setting miss Enya."

Uncrossing his arms, he lowers one hand and twists it in a semi circle above the ground, prompting the dog to go sit down in the snow towards where he signaled. Only then does he proceed to introduce himself, before she has a chance to reply. Just a tiny inclination of his head following the introduction.

"Malik Marduk - Black Fang of the Dalelands Chapter, High Priest of the Church of Bane. Welcome to Krag."

Looked curiously to Malik upon his arrival and smiled faintly upon being told they could always do with more healers, but when he revealed who he was, her eyes would widen in awe and surprise before she would bow her head and place a hand over her brest pressing something perhaps a amulet of some sort she wore under her robes to her chest before she said. "To the Dark Fathers will we submit, It is an honor to stand before you and in Part our lord, I am Enya Kindly, I hail from Skullport and in all meanings of the term, I am at your service, and thankyou for the welcome."

He seems content the slight groveling he's getting, and offers a nod to it, taking a brief moment to consider his words. A slight frown, but also some interest is given at the mention of Skullport.

"Miss Kindly. There is a tavern both down here at the fortifications, with perhaps a less reputable crowd, and one up at Krag, inside the Castle walls. I have no doubt you are tired from your travels, but I suggest Dustys inn, inside the walls."

Digging a gauntlet in to his pocket as he moves closer, he takes out a small token, and reaches out with his other hand, grabbing her wrist with his gauntlet. The token, he places in her palm before taking a step back again.

"Give this to Dusty, and your room will be paid for. Come see me when you feel rested, should you wish to give a true purpose to your existence. My office is in the left corridor, second door inside the Krag Temple."

As usual, though the words might be a request, or a question and not a command, his persona makes it seem less so. It is clear he expects Enya to be there, as soon as she is less weary from her journey.

Looking down to the token placed in her hand she would nod her head in understanding and gratitude before looking back up. "Yes Black Fang once I have rested and washed up I will seek you, gratitude for your time." She would say before sliding the token into her pocket, offering one last bow of her head to the Blackfang before reaching saying as she departed. "I look forward to seeing you soon my Lord."and with that unless stopped she would head towards the inn, token in pocket to get a room and a bath for the night.

Short, bewildered hair seemed to nearly fall before her face, but the chilling wind that howled across the courtyard of castle Krag blew the hairloks away from the face of a small human female. She wore a Tattered brown tunic which showed it was torn into places, but stiched together. She held a collection of firewood in her arms of ready to bring to the Inn.

"Guests like yourself surely would like to remain warm.." Words spoken with smile, even though it was a nervous one, while standing close to the Zhentarim. "Teekla.. is how they call me," she introduced herself while walking towards the Inn.

"It is my task to keep the rooms cleaned, and hearth warmed.. if there is anything you need while staying in the Inn.. ask for me." Though sometimes Teekla wanted to look at Enya, she dared not and just showed her the entrance to the Inn.

As Teekla was showing Enya around, it seemed to look by the ragged tunic and the bewildered, dusty hair that Teekla was likely a maid, or Slave working in the Mines usually. Yet Teekla seemed not to mention her day to day tasks other than it was usually up to the Zhentarim slavers to decide. With a slight nod the slavegirl makes notice of where the Temple to Bane was located.

"I dare not even look up there. Just do my tasks and run out.. it is for the best. I would.. Advice you do the same, Milady."

As they passed a Zhent guard, Teekla quickly looks away from him, not causing any attention on her. It was clear the slavegirl knew who to welcome but espcially who to avoid within the walls of Castle Krag. And for good reason. Slaves like Teekla lived by only one rule. Survive the day and fear for the next.

After the short tour, Teekla holds the door of the Inn open to Enya.

"Be save, Milady," Teekla said as she held the door with some relief. Finally a place where it was warm, where to warm her hands.

Enya would look to Teekla as she spoke of not even looking there and would say back in turn. "Coming from a Slave, I am rather surprised to hear this, you should come and preyer sometime, you may be surprised just how at home you will feel." As Teekla shows Enya around she would take note of places like the market, sellers of herbs an potions and other places of note before finally arriving at the inn where she would look to Teekla again and nod. "You are good company Slave, and my Compliments on your eagerness to serve, Ill be seeking you out later to help me with a little project, once I have permission of course. Serve well slave." Enya would say with a faint smile before leaving Teekla to warm herself as she went to book and visit a room to rest up in.
