Zsalat is Dead!

Around the Cormanthyr, a notice becomes pinned to trees, and signs. A few end up scattered around the ground, one even makes its way into the city itself, to be found upon the ground at one of the sitting areas. All of them say the same thing, written in a neat but nondescript hand.

Let it be known that Zsalat the Black is dead!
The Black Network and the House of Jaelre did defeat the Chronomancer Zsalat the Black. No other did anything worth noting. The mercenary Elaine that struck the final blow, and it is the House of Jaelre that did make it possible.

Hail the Zhentarim, and Hail Bane! Walk in Fear!
Hail the drow of the Cormanthyr.

Anything that is pinned in such a manner as damaging to the trees is ripped down and discarded, the scars then healed and thus nonexistent.

Any attempt to repeat this results in further removal in a continuous loop.

Annelise finds the notes, some scattered about on the ground, others nailed to trees.

"Strange..." she muses. "No head, no ears...no body. No proof. Just the bland proclamation. And then there is the usual insipid aftermath...no recovery of worthwhile information, no follow up....just kill 'it' and move on waiting for the next bump in the road." She drops the notice in the trash. "Then again, just a few written words, truth or lies to garner attention."

Then continues her patrol.

Noya takes a look at once such a note on a tree

"Who is this Zsalat?" She asks. Then shrugs her shoulder and walks off. Never heared of that fellow.

Iwean will notice the notes, "These city-folk and their squabbles, Who is this Zsalat? Why does their death warrant injuring the trees?" mumbling to himself while removes the pins and does his best to repair any damage.
