DM and Event Rumours and common knowledge

This is where all DM Rumours will be posted.

1. Any rumor involving a NPC's reaction to anything will only be posted by staff

2. Anyone reading this can assume staff received IC proof if it is started by a PC and/or witnessed the starting itself.

3. Rumors behave like any rumor and get warped with the retelling, posts will try and reflect this.

The name of the Natural bridge that marks the transition from underdark to refugee camp is renamed "Z'ress d' udossta Vlos" or in common "Strength of our blood" in honor of the bloody battle and last stand against the vile surfacers who dare came that far.

The guards and drow who wander the caverns have been on edge. Recently they have been reporting an increase in the undead and the occasional rumor of a hissing voice in that lingers in the air.

The mood and spirit of the camp is high after the local drow militia track down an elven scouting party. It is rumored that they were attempting to map some of the nearby tunnels and consisted of mainly Shevarash followers. The intruders were stopped and left to rot in their blood after one of their scouts gave away their position after getting lost in the maze of tunnels. The captured scout was at the time interrogated by the drow party, only to take his own life after realizing there was no escape from Lolth's minions.

The surfacers were identified through the black arrow marks that they left behind at various spots in the tunnels. The arrows all contained a small note attached to it that read The Horrible Truth. Their champion warrior also had a uniform outfitted with the marks of the Black Arrow.

There was a banshee in the beetle cavern wanting a drow heart.

Preferably a female drow.

As the eventful cycle progresses, the Ilharess Elina'reuth makes her decisions known to all that visit the camp.

For the decision of a new second-in-command position, Yathrin Mi'reli of the Que'llar Dabel'kith has been chosen. This position will be held for the period of sixty cycles, during which time the Dabel'kith will have a greater influence on the camp decisions. It is also announced that the final decision making still rests with Ilharess Elina'reuth.

For the gathering of food, scouts will be assembled and sent out to gather beasts from the Azer caves, and the Ilharess also announces that any who step forward and provide a contact for trade of food in the trade city Sschyndylryn will be rewarded.

News of the exotic material hide has also reached the Ilharess' ears, and it is announced that should only piece of equipment be made from it, a tournament to decide who receives it will be held.

Lastly, the Ilharess has decided to begin the formation of academy branches within the camp. The search for head masters has begun as the Dabel'kith and Zau'afin have been asked to nominate a headmaster faern and a headmaster sartglin. The classes will convene in a designated spot in the camp, and together with the masters, will perform training and patrols. This announcement comes with rumours that new tunnels will soon be unearthed in the depths.

Rumor spreads out amongst the camp.

The Yath'queshel Zau'afin and Quel'faeruk Dabel'kith are lovers. Rumor spreads about a converstation around the Zau'afin fire where the Yath'saruk confronts the Yath'queshel and she admits to being lovers with the Quel'faeruk. Reports of others being around the camp fire also heard this conversation.

Confirmed reports that surfacers where sighted last cycle and seem to of killed at least four Illythiiri, a Jalil in the deadmines and three more in the edge of the Trade City, as such The Ulathtaller and Ruleing Archmage of the Trade City are demanding more patrols and rumors of very fat bountys have been place on the heads of all surface adventurers that dare intrude into the underdark! The bounty stands at 10,000 for captured adventurers and 5,000 for the bodies of dead ones.

Reports of the Jaluk Demo'loth circulate around camp about his killing of the Yathrin Mataya last cycle on the bridge by the Outpost. The guards were able to fire some shots off before he left with the body.

There was a masked female with the Jaluk as well that left with him.

Word is spread that the Ilharess Elina will be speaking later this cycle.

Word spreads among the camp that a price has been placed upon the head of the jaluk Demo'loth by both Dabel'kith and Zau'afin
Dabel'kith placing 20,000 gold upon the jaluks head while Zau'afin placing 25,000, 30,000 if the jaluk is brought before Illharess d'Zau'afin shackled

In the Early hours of the Cycle, the Ulath'Taller was seen in camp again, seems the rumors of her death were greatly exagarated, with her were a number of new faces, a middle aged Jalil in brown leather pants, white shirt and huge backpack filled with stuff and a younger Jalil earing a a simply silken dress, the three of them were escorted by six of the Ulath'Tallers personal yathSargtlin and they went directly into the yath, and have not been seen since.
