A lone male drow stands atop a ridge, overlooking Rimwood, his piercing crimson eyes endlessly searching over the landscape. He is relentless in his search with his eyes, probably not ending until he finds exactly whatever he's looking for.
By this point, the blood on his blade, armor and gauntlets have dried in. As he turns his neck, a slight wince occurs and he looks down at a crescent moon medallion poking at his neck. He let's out a dark hiss, reaching up with his free hand and ripping the pendant off and tossing it behind himself.
"There is na mercy anymore. Ahye can nat stay mayhe blade. Blood for blood. Ahye will have him, and he will bleed for years for this crime."

A drow woman finds this man atop the hill, her dear friend, on the edge. She begs, pleads, with him to calm himself. The man refuses.
Casting is heard, the shuffling of battle, a sword meeting a shield, then bright lights.
After a time the noise subsides. The woman stands over the man, having fought him until he lay unconscious. Others join her soon, and they carry him deep into the forest.
The male drow is not seen again for some time.

Gul hears the comotions of the night from the Library. He continues writing his letter knowing that there will be time for his vengence against she Black Archers soon enough at a time and place of his choosing.
