The Drow head banner.

By the notice board and laws, there is a large pike jammed into ground. Adorned on this particular pike is four male drow heads, all jammed through the skull onto the pike, and finally at the top is a female drow head with flowing white hair. A note is attached to the pike and it states:

"All Eilistraeen drow are consider rebels, and criminals in Shadowdale, and aiding them will only deem you the same as them."

The female drow head may or not have evaporated into a pile of dust after a time of it sitting atop the pike.

Swordhand Migantes takes a moment to adress a crowd forming around the freshly staked pike. He slowly takes off his mask to properly address the citizenry

"I'd like ter take this time to talk to you all on a few... points... concerning our Order. The guards and soldiers you see around you have taken an Oath ter fulfill the Laws of the land, not for the sake of the Laws themselves, but to help serve you-- the upstanding peoples of Shadowdale."

"There are those outside this city that plot your demise. They plot ter overrun this city and burn it to the ground...or to enslave everyone you see around you and all those you hold dear. We are the only swords and shields standing in the way of these villains."

"I ask that ye remember this while looking at this pike. Any information brought forward concerning those that would see Us fail shall be rewarded handsomely. Remember the Zhentarim are the friends with arms on yourside. Help us help you."

*So remains a pike with four male drow heads, with the females withering away into dust. Narrowed eyes of suspicion look upon the pike, with boots clinking off to the barracks.*

A man in dark armour and cloak approaches and looks over the heads on pikes.

'Finally the people see what the Zhentarim protect them from.

Finally the Zhentarim show their true worth.

Finally the pendulum swings and the Zhentarim move in the right direction'.

*looks at the heads*

*The heads cause a moments pause for the blue elf, and she listens to the speaker. She clicks her tongue at the display, if it is a sign of approval or disapproval is only known to the woman in question, before she blends back into the crowd, going about her business*

A young blond girl walks up clad in silverish armor shaking her head.

"Upholding that laws to help the citizens. What a pile of bullshit. Ive seen you yourself Cobannon do nothing but extort money from poor farmers trying to make a living.
