A call for non-aligned UD characters

As some of you may know I play a devoted Lolth priestess as main character and I witnessed a need for this assembly in my time. I have an alt character, a half drow druid, as any half drow he does not have any real place to call home nor any family or friends. And there are many characters like this in UD. Actually every non-drow character is suffering the same fate. The non Lolthithe players have really a lot of RP potantial but it is hard to RP in a full Lolthithe environment freely.

Do not get me wrong I really like every thing about our server and even though some people complain, I love the way of the things in UD too but it may get boring after for, say, a Half Orc to be constantly forced to rp a slave or a Duergar to be mercenary. This is not a guild or kinship of anykind but maybe a topic for non-aligned UD characters could be usefull, a place to talk about our characters and new ideas. Drows are welcome too. Here we can arrange little adventures and events for our characters without any Religious matter like Lolth vs Vhaerun or any racial tension. Just pure UD adventures for characters with dark past and lonely life. There are lot of aspects of the Underdark that makes it great and interesting other than usual Drow business.

This also may help the general RP in UD to evolve and we can share our experiences with Surface-like adventures (with no racism and slavery stuff) in UD. Also this may relief the DMs and we can arrange our storylines and events without them so the roleplaying and the characters will develop and I think DMs will want to see that too

I say again this is not a criticism of our fellow UD players or DMs or anything. This is just the way of the system works and the UD roleplay and atmosphere is generally pretty good and right lore-wise but this topic is just for non stereotype UD players looking for fun and different adventurous stories.

As a Duergar I say unless you are a Duergar oi aint want know part of ya, Da hairy leggin bug humpers is back stabbers and da rest of ya lot is good fer nuttin but fodder

Well as I said it is for non-aligned characters. For example my drow priestess would not team up with a duergar (unless slave or merc) but in this thread we can create storylines for other characters. Like a half drow with a deep gnome and a half orc adventuring together for a quest of some kind but not related to the usual storylines of the UD.
