Yath’Tallar Ala strides forward to where Yath’Tallar Llilith is having a discussion with her daninil the Ul’Qu’el Olath Fahliell Sabanna.
Sabanna bows “vendui malla Yath’Tallar”
Llilith gives a respectful nod
Enraged Yath’tallar Ala strides up to Sabanna’s face and yells “dos will only speak to ussa when spoken to Fahliell.”
Sabanna glairs back but nods respectfully and says “a dos quarth Yath’Tallar”
Ala yells “SILENCE FAHIELL”
Llilith “Nau, Sabanna may speak”
Sabanna obediently turns to Llilith “a dos Quarth malla Yath’Tallar”
Ala “Xas dos will speak Sabanna, dos will proclaim Lolth superior to anything, to everything.”
Sabanna obediently falls to her knees and begins to pray to Llolth “ Malla Lolth zuddar ussa, malla Lolth take from ussa the weak and the unworthy.
Ala talks over the prayer to Llolth “ Edrik spoke as dos do Sabanna and he has been slain”
Sabanna no wanting to interrupt a prayer to the dark queen continues to pray “Malla Lolth teach udos what dos do with heretics….
Ala interrupts the prayer again “Proclaim Lolth as superior to everything and anything!”
Sabanna ignores Ala interrupting prayer to the spider Queen and thinks to herself (what kind of yath interrupts a prayer to malla Lolth) “Malla Lolth, grant ussa the power of dos Olath so that ussa can enforce dos will
Ala “NOW!”
Llilith snarls with rage
Ala looks to Llilith “Dos allow such? Dos jali will naut proclaim Lolth superior to everything”
Llilith “dos will naut let her finish the prayer”
Sabanna finishes her prayer and looks up to Ala “Delheen Malla Lolth is superior to everything and to anything, this is a given”
Sabanna stands back up and with her ceremonial dagger slices her arm open in a deep slashing cut
Ala states “Sabanna dos behavior is questionable. Usstan add to ussta’s list.”
Looking at Ala in the eye she clenches her fist “Ussa give freely to malla Lolth “blood squirts out and runs down her arm and spills on Ala’s boots”
Ala continues “ Dos where naut asked to give prayer dos where asked to immediately proclaim. Usstan will be watching dos.”
Sabanna replies, and dos will find ussa to be one of Malla Lolth’s most faithful” she states with pride.
Ala barks to Vic’riia “Get over here Vic’riia give Sabanna three strikes for questionable behavior. Udos will see”
Lliith steps in, “Nau! The Zau’afin will naut strike her.”
Ala replies “she is yath and has been quarth by ussa”
Vic’riia not knowing what to do rests her hand on her hilt and bows her head to Yath’Tallar Llilith and waits.
Llilith argues “ and usstan am Yath’Tallar and dispute the order”
Ala growls “interference by dos Yath’Tallar Llilith is blasphemy.”
A crowd begins to gather at the heated dispute
“Nau! Usstan am a Yath’Tallar, to know the will of malla Lolth is my business and ust has more than enough place to dispute dos orders.”
Sabanna steps between the Yath’Tallaren and to Llilith says “Usstan will take the lashes” and to Ala “but by a Yath, dos or Yath’Tallar Llilith” trying to compromise “Usstan will naut take lashes from a Zau’afin.”
Sabanna begins to unbuckle her armor, tossing it to the ground in a heap. The then reverently takes of her red spider silk cloak of Dabel’kith and carefully folds it and places it on top of the armor.
Ala sneers “Punishment has been quarthed Sabanna. Vic’riia wil give the strikes. To attempt to debate it borders on open admission to heresy!”
Llilith sneers right back “Usstan does naught admit heresy. Dos think dos have more power than dos actually do Ala. Usstan will naut be trapped in dos word games.”
Ala states “usstan am nauthing to Lolth. Vic’riia perform dos duty.”
Llilith agrees “and dos are nauthing to usstan. Get out of my sight!”
Sabanna kneels before Ala, her back bare and her hands laced behind her head
Vic’riia drawls her blade but Llilith steps between her and Sabanna raising her shield. “Do naut disobey ussa Jali! Dos do naut want a war!”
Vic’riia hesitates
Ala screams “ now Vic’riia dos will face ussa’s wrath for dosst disobedience!”
Vic’riia meekly says to Llilith “usstan am bound by the Yath’tallar’s orders Yath’tallar.’ and tries to move around Llilith to get at Sabanna.
“And dos are bound by ussa’s orders Jali” Llilith blocks her path.
“Three strikes!” Ala cackles
Vic’riia looks confused and turns to Ala “the Yath’Tallar will naut yield”
Ala screams “then she is a heretic! Slay any heretic dos fined!”
Llilith states to Vic’riia “The Yath’Tallar is making a dangerous mistake. Do naut find dos self punished at her expense.”
Vic’riia grits her teeth, chokes up on her blade and attacks the Yath’Tallar! Screaming ‘Llolth tlu malla!”
Bloody battle commences. Sargtlin D’eldriel orders the rothe Cadian to follow her and runs to the Yath’Tallar’s aid. Vic’riia is momentarily distracted by the two unexpected assults but her skilled blades quickly dispatch the pair and she turns back to Llilith.
The battle lasts for many moments. A thrust here and a parry there. The Yath’Tallar calls forth the olath blessings of Malla Lolth to aid her but many are countered by the curses of Yath’Tallar Ala. In the end the Vic’riia strikes a killing blow to the Yath’Tallar. The sound of the act rings across the darkness.
The entire time Sabanna remains as ordered on her knees her hands laced behind her head, her fingernails digging into her skin with rage.
After the Yath’Tallar Llilith has fallen Vic’riia catches her breath and steps forward to the kneeling Sabanna and strikes her with three mighty blows. The sword cuts deeply across Sabanna’s bare back and much of her life blood pools out at their feet.
Ala nods with satisfaction “three where given and dos did naut flinch Sabanna. Bweal done Sabanna dos have taken dos punishment.” Cackling she continues “dos Yath’Tallar has acted heresy and blasphemy.”
Ala continues to talk but her words are lost to the rage that is boiling within Sabanna. She calmly stands and picks up her armor buckling it back in place and reverently affixing her red spider silk cloak of Dabel’kith to her bosom.
As Vic’riia sheaths her sword and begins to turn away but stops as Sabanna quietly says in a voice as cold as ice “usstan have taken ussa’s punishment. Zau’afin. Dos and ussa have unfinished business.”
Roaring an abyssal curse and striding forward mid stride Sabanna’s features begins to alter and by the time she reaches Vic’riia a raging Demon stands above the tiny Vic’riia wilding Lolth’s Olath rage. If but a few quick strikes infused with acid the demon that is Sabanna tears through Vic’riia’s puny armor. Screaming with a final blow “DOS WILL NAUT ATTACK THE YATH VILTH!” Sabanna stabs a force of solid eldritch energy through Vic’riia’s shoulder near her heart. The blow crumples Vic’riia like a rag doll but does not kill her. The demon spits on the fallen body.
Blinded by rage Sabanna storms around the small clearing not letting any come near the fallen Yath’Tallar.
Ala fuming with rage and probably a bit of fear searches the crowd for aid. Her eyes fall on the Yath’sargtlin Edrik. “Edrik dos live. Slay Sabanna and drag her corpse along with Llilith's off. Let Lolth decide their fates.”
Sabanna kneels down to Lliliths lifeless body and tenderly says “daninil can dos hear ussa?” shaking her to see if she yet lives.
Ala shaking “Llilith has been slain dos heretic fool”
Sabanna stands up noticing Edrik preparing “usstan will naut let any come near the Yath’Tallar!”
Drawling his sword Edrik replies “Nau Yath’Tallar. Usstan will nuat raise blade against the Yath…. Sabanna on the other hand.” Edrik calls forth the undead corps of Raman to assist him.
Za’nara smirks with satisfaction in her eyes at Edrik about to tear her enemy Sabanna apart but her smirk turn awe and then to fear as with but a few blows Edrik as well is lying at Sabanna’s capable feet.
Sabanna returns to guarding the fallen Yath’Tallar
Ala nervously calls “Za’Nara dos are up next.” Then deciding that probably isn’t enough she calls to the rest of Zau’Afin “Slay the heretic!”
All of the remaining Zau’Afin forces rush in trying to hack at Sabanna’s quick movements but their blades find nothing but air.
Za’nara singing her foul song begins to actually cause harm to the giant demon that is Sabanna but the demon is quick on her feet, alters her tactics and with a few agile blows of eldritch energy Za’nara’s eyes roll back in her head and she crumples to the floor.
One by one all of Zau’Afins forces are felled by the raging demon. All the time she continues to guard the fallen Yath’Tallar. Any who dare approach meet a swift defeat.
Sargtlin D’eladriel, having recovered from her blow on the head crawls forward and casts a raise dead scroll on the Yath’Tallar and begins to tend to her wounds. Sabanna seeing the sargtlin is helping the Yath’Tallar allows her access but continues to storm around the area searching for any more threats. Yath’Tallar Ala seems to be missing from the scene. Perhaps she is cowering in fear beneath the auction table.
As the Yath’Tallar comes too her wounds are tended and her lost memory restored by an account of what just happened.
The tumbled bodies of the Zau’Afins begins to come too. Sabanna didn’t slay any of them only taught them a lesson. She realizes that her Ilharess will need all the Illythiiri for the coming battle for the city.
Yath’Tallar Llilith now able to move under her own power scowls at all of the bruised and beaten Zau’Afins. “Dos have committed an act of war!” she begins to stride off but stops for a moment. “War dos shall have.”
Anyone in the area will notice a large Demon and a Devil guarding the Dabel’kith pavilion of the refugee camp. They allow none who are not wearing the blood red cape of Dabel’kith enter the area without the express permission of Yath’Tallar Llilith or Ilharess Lidtchi.
