*A formal and polite refusal*

My people, I have spent the days following my release recuperating and discussing the state of the defenders and the city with you. Aside from a few very vocal individuals who may be more focused on themselves and their self interests I have found the majority to be putting the needs of the people first and foremost. These individuals agree and give ample example and evidence that the interim keeper during my incarceration has been doing an excellent job maintaining the defense of our people and keeping the defenders as an operating force in spite of being with child. After careful consider and discussion I have respectfully declined my ability to take back the keeper position. Our people are well served by Keeper Auryne, her defenders and the stability she represents. Having another shift in power would serve no good purpose and make us weaker both within and without.

If my people have need of me they only need call, I will answer with all the assets at my disposal.
