A Polite Letter to All the Lyons. Empty

A letter in plum colored ink is left tied to a tree with a silver colored ribbon for the Lyons. It's contents are simple and very polite. There are several ones similar to it tied gently to other trees around Cormanthor.

Greetings.

I hope this letter finds you well as I've a simple request to make as I've heard some rather insane rumors about you that sound very much like betrayal to me. I highly doubt these accusations could possibly be true and would like to iron out this issue in person. If you would be so kind as to pick a safe location in the forest, I will personally come alone to meet you. You may feel free to bring whichever of your family you with to accompany you, I just wish this meeting to be as soon as possible before tensions become too great.

Wishing you well,
Book Mistress L.

Replies beneath found letters.

"You had your chance fiend. We are not Ironhouse, you will not fool us like you did innocent dwarves. We wont make deals and meetings with fiends, because you are incapable to respect them and now it blows in my face for trusting you first time. You have no guarantee, your lies are coming on surface. But my mouth are not chained anymore, everyone will know of your deeds and your identity fiend. All we wanted is peace, but you could not let us be couldn't you."

Replies are unsigned but L would know well who wrote them.

A new letter is left at each of the trees again, though this time they've been nailed into the living wood as if in anger, though the content of the letters is still polite, the script still curling, the ink is different, a deep dark red instead of the elegant royal plum that the Book Mistress usually writes in.

It is regrettable that it has come to this, but I will not force you to do as you do not wish to, nor will I force you to see the truth, nor will I beg. I, nor any of my Librarians have done anything to betray your trust, or bring harm to the villain that you now keep safe in your grove. As you do not wish to accept my words, I will merely prove my innocence with my actions. Not one of the Librarians, nor those of the Tanaimutsu have ever actively hunted the one you harbor. Though I urge that you use caution when dealing with him.

Forever prepared,
Book Mistress Lairena Eitery
Knowledge is indiscriminate and is, thus, worthy of our time.
See us, hear us, know the truth. We are rising to the occasion.

PS: All I ask is that you keep your sister close and protect her well. She has once saved my life, and I hope to do the same by warning you. I can only hope that this prevents the same from happening to her as has happened to me. May your family live long happy lives.

As if to add a point, a carving has been left in the bark of the tree. A single word is left, large and imposing on the tree's bark.

HOPE

Found letters have been removed and wounds done to trees healed. There is no left reply after it was seen that living wood has been harmed. If L would be around at the time she could see Leo restoring minor damages to the trees and removing the letters, cleaning after work of fiendblooded.
