Deeds on the North Ride

Tyndal Gwenna and a few others, either Black Archers or associates, have taken up patrolling in increased numbers around a log palisade built on the North Ride, east of the bandit camp. When not patrolling, they are often seen at the camp there, bringing in game and more generally offering whatever assistance is required.

Shortly after patrols are taken up the Black Archers can be seen notching bright orange arrows and letting fly. These arrows land and are then marked with a rock, bush or other inconspicious marker.

A map is then drawn outlining towers and their proximity to these prepolotted positions. An field of fire map is drawn up indicating both distance as well as how these fields of fire interlock depending on position. Each archer has with them a number of extra bows and offers to share the information with any guard present to include training on the use of the bow and what each marker indicates.

He makes absolutely clear that this action is taken on behalf of the Bastards Mission of dealing with dhearow and is independent and seperate of the issues of war.

Tyndal conducts his usual patrol, sweeping through the woods near Myth Drannor and past the Rimwood mine, and continues down the North Ride, spending more time there than usual. In the course of his wandering, Tyndal keeps an eye out for game -- principally deer, though boar would serve well too. He takes down as much as he can bear, and carries the meat to the refugee camp.
