Sherne will have been seen increasingly at the orphanage and staying there for much of his time. With winter approaching, he will bring in new clothing and books, also adding to the incoming donations to ensure repairs, food, fuel and staff.

He will support the staff there by giving his time to teaching also, from literacy and numeracy, chess and story telling, to practical sessions on fishing, smithing, swordplay and even the rudiments of the arcane vocabulary. He would accompany groups who wished to walk in the nearby forest and offer to teach them to swim and dive, warding them from the seasonal cold of the lake water.

He will give support he can to the orphans bearing troubles, but beyond the understanding ear, he will try to refer them to those better trained and attempt to keep their minds (and equally his own) away from the past.

((Any time I am not on server, assume Sherne is working at the orphanage and is easily contactable there))

The Red Knight priestess Mara can be seen helping out at the orphanage. Trying to give some maternal care to the children. Offering them games to play and lessons to learn. Helping with cooking and cleaning and reading bedtime stories. Tucking children into their beds with a small kiss on their foreheads.

During Elric's visits to the orphanage he notices Sherne And Mara's appearance and spirit of goodness
he merely says "Thank you" and seems overjoyed with seeing more goodly folk taking up the mantle of aiding the poor.

If Karovir is not patrolling or sitting/standing around in the refugee camp he still spends time with the orphans as he did before already.

Sometimes Alaran visits the orphanage to make some donations, seeing Sherne and Mara he would simply nod to them and walk away to avoid the children.

Sayiel pass much of her time at the orphanage these days, helping with the children. Telling them elven typical stories, playing with them elven games, trying to teach them gently of the elves and trying to answer their question to the best of her capacity. Making no differance between humans, elf, half-elf or other races children in the way she deal with them.

*Ardylan has dropped by a few times to donate coin or carry over a heavy sack of food, but its almost always just an excuse to go visit Sayiel and chat with her or Arjay if either are around.*

*He doesn't really like the very young human children that scream all the time, but he does find the slightly more mature elven ones a bit endearing - especially when they ask him questions about joining the Akh'Velahr and inquire as to why he keeps his golden armor so shiny. He'll give them a short answer that is as polite as he can muster, then send them to Sayiel if they're still curious.*

*He tries his best to keep his bitterness and anger toward the outside world hidden from the children, but something about the orphans just brings his mood down. He'll make his visits brief, always slipping out the door more unnoticed than a person wearing bright golden armor should be able to manage.*
