A priestess takes her nighly devotions elsewhere, performing them somewhere outside under the starry sky, as the temple is occupied by individuals identified as drow.

a male Elf weary from travel enters the temple following the sweet song, his tired smile turns to mistrust and suspicion upon seeing the Dark Elves within

he walks to the shrine and offers a prayer to the Seldarine that the dark hearts of his distant kin truely are pure then turns and leaves

//just a note. these are no longer Drow as such. they are Dark elves without red eyes and without the air of evil that most drow carry. the curse that corellon put on the Ilythiiri tribe has been lifted and they are now Dark Elves again. However, how the Elves choose to react to them is completely yours to decide.

When Taeron hears about a drow in the Seldarine temple, he makes his way to it to see for himself.

Seeing the dark tan elf singing, he just frowns.

Muttering something in Illuskan, he walks up to the temple guards.

"Someone spent a bit too much time in the sun, eh?" the barbarian comments on the singing elf and leaves the temple with fresh healing supplies.

Amar, just returned from one of his patrols, heads for the market.
as his ears catches the sweet song from the temple, he is drawn towards it.
Entering the temple, seeing the Dark kin, he stops for a moment, his eye narrows a bit and he walks closer.
standing against the wall, listening for a while, his eye closed, it is clear he is lost in thought.

After a few minutes he opens his eye, looks at his kin for quite a while.. then grumbles and mumbles " at least they're not dancing round' naked " he then turns and leaves.. muttering for every step and a few words like " Remembering " and " Past " is heard.

blue passes by from time to time he doesn't seem bothered either way about them he may on occasion stop to talk but other wise sticks to his word and never enters the temple..

after the death of his wife he often seems to no longer visit nor look at the temple just passes by and does what he needs to and vanishes..

when in the temple he often turns his back to the statues or diverts his eyes to not ecknowledge the statues..

one would assume he has lost his faith.. but in truth he is just angry and lost.. he often thinks of worshiping another diety entirely tho he says not which one would gather its not one from the selderine..

other than that blue would appear to be normal tho still not his self he appears more so now as a direct no nonsense straight to the point elf..

on the rare occasion one may catch a glimpse of the old blue he once was but not for long or too often..

Lia enters the temple, approaching the woman as she sings. Matching the pitch of her voice to the song, she sings softly in the background, trying to comliment the music. Waiting until the song ends, she smiles warmly: "May we sit together and share conversation and a meal cousin?" she asks, her tone gentle and kind.

The mysterious elf would smile to Lia and show her the place next to her in the stairs and finish her song before turning to her with a kind, gentle and low voice. Calming one.

"I never say no to company, there is always something another can teach us"

She smiles to Lia.

"But people could talk if you take too much time with us, I do not wish to bring you problems."

She seems kind and caring for others.

PostSubject: Re: Elf singing in the temple   Elf singing in the temple EmptyThu Jan 05, 2012 7:24 pm

A sun elf in grey armor and a black cloak clasped with a small black arrow symbol approaches the two dark elves and stops, well out of arms-reach. His face twitches as he stares at the two for a long moment.

Finally, he speaks, his voice tightly controlled, his cheek twitching still:

"The last time Eilestraee manifested to show us some truth, she vouched for a dhaerow named Nanga. This Lolthite torturer, provocateur, and all too cunning idiot was sanctified, washed clean of her many sins, and held up as worthy of our trust."

He pauses, letting the words sink in.

"Nanga walked out of the Eilestraeen glade some weeks ago and turned her cloak again, going over to the Jaelre clan of Vhaeraunite drow. She has pledged her service to a dhaerow who openly admits plans to destroy life as we know it, enslave us, and raise up his people as our masters. She has fought at his side, attempting to kill tel'quessir. And this Vhaeraunite dhaerow? He too spent months enjoying the trust of the Glade, as a supposed Moondancer.

"Tell me, 'dark elves,' what good is your goddess if she will bless Nanga? Why should I or any other trust you simply because she sees fit to remove the marks that allow us to defend ourselves against your kind?"

He holds up a hand, asking them to say nothing.

"I don't want an answer to that question. I want you to know that any tel'quess with sense knows the worth of your goddess' judgment. From the moment she decided to go with the traitors, she erred. And don't tell me the gods don't err. Corellon trusted Araushnee, after all.

"So turn not to her to prove your virtue. Turn not to Corellon, even, Creator and Protect though he may be.

"I ask that you prostrate yourself before Shevarash himself, the one who sees clearly. Cease the singing, the displays of piety, and bow your head. Stay there for one week. Offer him your soul, that he might destroy it if he finds the faintest hint of treachery and darkness in it.

"Do this, and I will begin to consider you. But don't come to us asking for acknowledgement when the proof you bear is all too familiar, and tainted by the Moondancers who precede you."

With those words, the sun elf turns on his heels and walks out.

*Ardylan visits the temple, with Tay and his cousin Ileleste in tow. He speaks with Sinual for a time, checking up on her well-being. He doesn't seem angry or concerned with the change, and mostly just asked about how she is feeling and what she plans on doing once she can leave the temple.

Before he leaves, he gives Sinual a deck of cards to play with, to help pass the time.*

Ok. This is getting out of hand. This thread is in an IC section of the forums. I do not want to see anymore OOC in this thread.

Steppenwolf MacGregor and Zethos64. I have removed your OOC posts. If you two want to discuss this then please do so in PMs. Steppenwolf, I also forwarded your OOC post to Zethos64 via a PM.

Tae, I have edited your origional post to include what you specified Tae would have said in your second posting and removed your second post, combining the two together. Also I removed all OOC comments to clean up the thread a bit.

Everyone, please remember to keep things civil OOC. Remember that your character is not you and just because someone is offensive IC doesn't mean that they themselves are mean or cruel as players.

So please, no more of this. I don't want to have to lock this thread. Wink

the jerky is a tad tough this time round but the tea is soothing and relaxing.. enjoy..

he walks out eyeing the statue he once prayed in front of determined once the temple is clear to come back and confront it...

one may wonder what is going on in his mind right now but he stays tight lipped and says nothing on it..

Elf singing in the temple Empty
PostSubject: Re: Elf singing in the temple   Elf singing in the temple EmptyFri Jan 06, 2012 10:32 am

A small human female walked into the temple drawn too it by the singing, she had been in the city in hopes of being able to meet the lady she had sent a letter too recently. Hendeo looked to be in her late teens, early twenties, her blood red hair was messy and wild falling down past her neck, on which rested a very thick dull grey metal collar which had powerful magical markings engraved into it. She was wearing a simple red robe that had seen better days too, she almost could pass as human apart from her eyes that glowed a firey orange.

Hendeo did not seem realise she had wonderered into a temple, the beautiful singing and music complectly captivating her, only when the performer stopped to rest her voice for a moment did Hendeo suddenly register where she was, unnatural glowing eyes widening as she gazed upon the stunning and beautiful statues of the Elven Gods, and then, she would burst into tears. Long drawn out hysterical sobs exploding out of her before she turned tail and fled out of temple, into the streets crying and saying something along the lines of "Not fare!" over and over again.
