Plague Research!

A few notes are taken upon a parchment...

"A curious thought came to mind; what if this toxin, or plague as it were, is capable of being purged by intense light? It's worth a thought, when someone brought up the Shadow Weave and the opposition of Light and Darkness. As such, I called forth the required, and no more, divine power needing to create a Searing Light, and released it upon one of the infected; a man named 'Roman (Willown)'.

I am unsure of this will do anything, but it is an experiment. This spell is potent enough on it's own, and does not require nearly as much training or energy as Greater Restoration. If it can be purified by intense, holy light... then it's worth a try. I'll write down my findings. If this fails, then maybe divine power is not the answer we seek?"

Aloisa, Level 7 Cleric/1 Hospitaller, DPL 7, attempting Searing Light as a means to purge 'Death from Above'. Or, at least, to see if it causes any effects, and perhaps stronger divine healers can do more.

tarik and anastasia work through the night and day working on not disaearning what the death from above is but an alchemical substatue that will have the same affects as the restorative blessinsg of the clerics.
Books, diagrams and notes can be seen littring the crafting hall the giant chalk bourd in the center of the room full of ingreadiants and equashions some with lines through them, meanwhile the alchemists bench is bubbling with failed attemps and brewing concoctions with ana and tarik looking on with mixed emotions.

both charicters have alchemy of atleast +30 as they work also high lore skills

Mante periodically checks in on Tarik and Ana, when he is not needed at the House of Plenty to tend the sick. He offers advice on possible healing herbs that may prove useful, and examines the plague samples for any divine components, or solutions.

Moric Blake attempts a series of experiments on a few blood samples from various inflicted citizen'. After heating and sanitization of the blood sample and once disease metabolism has increased, Apply rapid cooling for observation of crystallized patterns. The disease as per experiment seem to be voracious and consuming in nature, replicating themselves exponentially over time.


Sidenote: Decreasing the viscosity of blood stream via deprived Honey extract, proved temporarily beneficial but spreading continued to consume surrounding matter .

Sidenote: Complete crystallization of inflicted would result in complete shutdown of metabolic reaction. Halting damage from diseased tissue.

*all of Dark Thorn can be seen out distributing the cure around shadowdale with tarik busy helping load up caravans with the cure and directing them to the outliting villages across the dales , he can be seen spraking with the caravan masters pointing over maps and and wishing them waukeens blessings on the road each caravan master is payed well as are his guards and workers*
