Zau'afin Blood Trial

Yath'abban Kor'nes Dabel'kith and Yath'abban Tunang square off in the refugee camp. The pair bitter enemies since Tunangs first cycle within the camp. Previously Yath'tallar Phaerune Dabel'kith welcomed Tunang to camp with a firm beating. The Yath'abban Kor'nes sat back and watched laughing and making comments. This angered Tunang very much and she swore revenge against the Dabel'kith Yath'abban.

A few cycles later Yath'abban Tunang encounteres Kor'nes within camp. Full of anger and hate, Tunang casts a light spell upon the Dabel'kith Yath'abban in an effort to insult her. The Dabel'kith Yath'abban of course immediatly issued a death challenge and the pair walk to the ceremonial bridge where so many tests of Lolth take place.

The battle lasted a long time, the pair evenly matched but in the end Yath'abban Tunang was victorious. She murmers prayers to Lolth over the dead Dabel'kiths corpse then removes her head. As the blood fills the bridge, Tunang fills a vial of with Kor'nes blood for some unknown reason. The head is planted on a stake and posted within the camp for all to see. The corpse of Kor'nes is pushed over the edge to rot in the bone piles below. The Dabel'kith Rothen Shula was later seen slipping away in an effort to retrieve her Jabbresses corpse.

Rumors circulate later that Tunang met with Ilharess Ginthrae Zau'afin and passed the vial of blood to the Nobel Que'llars matron mother. The Matron was pleased, perhaps this was a test of some kind? It is well known that entrance into Zau'afin Que'llar is not easy and requires the blood of an enemy as proof strength and commitment to Lolth.
