** Posted on the Shadowdale Board on a ratted piece of parchment.
Placed there when no one was around the fire or well..and the guards were on the patrol away from that side of the board.**

**Written in the common tongue with standard ink:

Danger in Shadowdale...

The city is in danger... and very close by.
Beware good people of Shadowdale.**

and it was as stated, the guards were on patrol and no one at the fire or well.
I watched them for the timing.
The closest one had her back turned to me..when I started to post it.))

Lairena reads the small slip carefully and frowns as she wonders who could have posted it or what the threat could be. Tilting her head, she sighs, deciding it's nothing to worry about. Yet. She'll look into it more when her current assumptions, undead, Lord of Filth, Rebels, are all exhausted and proven incorrect. As per usual, she'd sit and observe silently until something happened.

As a side note, she tacks a simple response to it.

As Vanguard Kenson conducts one of her board checks, she sneers and rips the note down, crumpling it up and tossing it into the fire. Afterwhich she simply resumes her patrols of the town.
