Slave at work

Slave Cain can be seen seeing to her usual tasks once more. Whatever has kept her from them these past few days has likely been resolved, judging by some light bruising around her neck. She sees to her appointed tasks with no less resolve or determination .

Her free time now is spent in contemplation , a quill in her hands in front of paper , paper that quickly finds itself in to various places where fire can be found amongst Shadowdale

The Former Slave Kelinda Cain, is no longer seen at her daily tasks. But out and around Shadowdale. Now in possession of a pair of jeweled black gauntlets , and a proper cloak. Watchful Sister Cain can be seen being considerably more social then her time spent as Slave. Having conversions with the swordhands , and getting to know the locals both military, and citizen alike..

Colopatiron can be seen in the temple every night exactly at midnight praying to the Dark Lord. Every night he comes in looking drained and seems to be coughing violently.. sometimes producing blood that he wipes from his mouth with a clean cloth he keeps in his cloak. As he prays you see that his body regains its health, his cough is non existent and he looks stronger. His color returns to his face. He always ends his prayer saying the following words aloud:

"Serve no one but Bane. Fear him always and make others fear him even more than you do."

He then stands and goes about his cleaning duties without complaint. He seems almost glad to have some sort if purpose. He cleans the pews as instructed by the Watchful Sister and if one of the other slaves has slacked on their job that night he cleans their parts of the Temple as well. He then sits in quiet reflection for the next few minutes and writes down the events of the day in his journal.

Watchful Sister Kelinda Cain can be often seen in the temple, watching over his efforts. She is often seen with a small beat up notebook, and occasionally writes a few words in it, as if taking notes.

She never moves during his coughing fits, but takes notes on how often they happen, and if there is a trigger for them to occur.

She seems adamant that he not spend all of his time at the temple at this point in his training, but otherwise does not disturb

Trusted Servant Halgrave pulls Watchful Sister Cain aside and explains something to her, away from the initiate. ((In-Game))

*somewhat exhausted from the nights events Colo looks into the fire pit.*

"I have to clean this out before bed?" He thought to himself. *He noticed the Watchful Sister doing something at the alter and decided he better get started*

*He carefully measured out the dimensions of the pit, walking it multiple times to be sure he knew its size, he also took note of how much wood he would need to reignite it. Colo then left the temple in search for wood and other materials.*

*Walking through town with a new found vigor as he realized he was on the next stage of his journey, this gave him a renewed strength to move on. He gathered his supplies from the local general store; a large canvas tent, a few dozen pieces of wood, a flint/tender, a bucket (of which he filled with clean water) and a scrub brush*

*He returned to the temple and place the water away from the pit in the corner of the room, he covered it with his cloak. He placed the wood in a neat pile near the pit but far enough not to catch flame. He took out the tent and used a small knife to cut away the seems. After this he laid the tent out and cast a spell upon it. Then he stretched it across the pit and used the wood logs to hold it in place. He waited about 10 minutes for the fire to suffocate itself. Then he removed the tent and set it aside. He re-stacked all the wood neatly back into a pile. From here he climbed down into the pit and began removing all the old wood along with the debris and ash on the unfolded tent. Once the pit was cleaned out he folded up the tent and moved it outside the temple. He disposed of it in the local trash heap. Before returning to the temple he cleaned himself off so that he would not track any of the ash or wood back into the temple. He then returned to the temple and spoke a blessing upon the new wood he was placing in the pit. Once it was all settled in the pit he swept the floor of the temple and gathered up all the wood chips that were left. He then lit the wood with his flint and tender.*

*Once the pit was complete Colo then turned his sights on the pews. He grabbed his bucket of water out of the corner and grabbed his scrub brush and started cleaning. Once the pews were cleaned he stood in the temple for a few minutes taking in his new life. It wasn't glorious yet but he is on his way*

//OCC: Colo can be seen cleaning the pews every night around 2AM. Respectfully if he comes in and people are still there from mass he will wait for them to leave before doing this chore. I will repost more later to update more on my duties.

Krik Lawcaster, the new slave initiate can now be seen keeping up the grounds of the church.

Sweeping, mopping, cleaning the firepit, making and preparing food for whatever might come.

He doesn't speak to others much, but when he does; his voice might be a bit off-putting. It's in the higher range; reminiscent of a young man, but his face betrays this. He is clearly mid-twenties, and his voice should be more developed, by now. Those whom come two hours before the holy hour might hear his voice singing Church Hymals; in a high soprano range.
