A Librarian at Work

As the Crossroads, Freehaven, and a few other wild areas are the only places that masks are allowed, L. has taken to wandering the areas in search of jobs and information. Already, she's picked up a couple and is currently working on them. She can be seen openly carrying a thick and rumpled notebook that is stuffed with folded pieces of loose parchment, many of its pages are already filled with notes that she'd carefully scrawled within its pages. The book is becoming tattered and will soon need to be replaced. But for now, it continues to serve its purpose.

Glancing at the sky to judge the time, the young woman sighs and decides to take a post at the crossroads for the time being. Adjusting her mask, she wanders off in the direction, all the while, she browses the pages of her notebook. She mutters to herself as she walks, "I should really stop putting this off. Perhaps I should contact the others and get them to help compile the information. I've not talked to some of them in a few days..." She ponders the thought as she walks.

Arriving at the crossroads, she slips the custom made hip bag from her side and dumps it on the ground with her other things. The only thing she still holds is her notebook as she leans on a tree and continues perusing the pages. She wonders if posting flyers about the search would be wise. She quickly decides against it. If it were that easy, her clients would have done it themselves. She sighs, snapping the book shut, she settles down among the roots of the trees for a few hours as staying still for a time makes it easier for possible clients or important bits of information to reach her.

Having changed her regular location for a while, the Librarian called L. now wanders about Free Haven when on duty, waiting for work to find her. When she wasn't down in the depths of Free Haven though, she'd wander the Dales, openly searching for any who might help her arrange a meeting with influential figures involved in the Rebellion force. With luck, one would find her before unwanted attention arose.

When she's not wandering, she sits on one of the various benches in Free Haven, compiling information regarding a job she'd received not too long ago.

If anyone should need her, L. would not be found at her usual locations. Some of her other Librarians, if they decide to do some work, might be found, but otherwise, the Dales seem void of the masked figure who usually sold the information services of the Librarians.

In actuality, L. stands in a small room, random pieces of parchment and long scrolls are tacked up on a wall as she organizes her notes and neatly compiles the information into several blank tomes she'd been carrying around. Seemingly at relative peace, she spends her days now in a small room, though if anyone who might know her current location wished it, she wouldn't reject some company and conversation.

Vuz in his exile uses the usual form of contact to find L but notes there is no reply he sighs and shrugs as he mutters about the difficulties of purchasing expensive scrolls*

A masked man, his entire body and face covered, sometimes would come by her room for a chat, sometimes bringing tea and delicacies, sometimes bringing interesting tomes.

On one of Fox's various visits, she hands him a decent sized package of papers. The package include a list of supplies, some instructions and a set of recently completed tomes that she wants both the Librarians and the Tanaimutsu to have access to. She speaks briefly on the matter of the instruction, "This only involves the Council members. There's no reason to involve anyone below their ranks. Not that we've many in regards to that. The other things are information regarding Despair and the Fourth "

She pulls another book from another pile, it is very small and on it's deep red binding is a plain silver symbol that has quickly come to represent the Librarians. She runs a hand over the cover and hands it to him. "This one is for you. Keep the contents of this specific tome quiet."

If anyone should try to find L. at her usual hiding place, there is a chance that they might not find her there. Over the past couple of days, it seems she's taken to sneaking out. It isn't known exactly where she goes during these times, but she always leaves in the evening, and returns the next morning.
