((Was going to post this yesterday but may as well to it here and update it a bit. Thanks to staff for supporting me on this yesterday.))

*Seeing the plight of the dale townfolk, Steffan contacts one of the local farmers to procure fruit and bread. He then spends the next several hours in and around Shadowdale's northlands and the village dividing up and passing out quarter loaves and fruit to the starving people. As he makes his way toward Shadowdale village a hin man helps Steffan in his task.*

Vincham - eager to please the Brotherhood's Zhentarim hosts - keeps note of any individuals he sees distributing material goods and services... specifically healing, should blessings of gods other than those approved by the Zhentarim be rumoured to be offered.

Kara makes no real effort to hide the fact that the healing power she is using comes from Tyr.

and she proudly wears a symbol of Tyr.

Vincent, the rather well known Hero of the People in Shadowdale, walks his usual patrol paths through town and noticing the growing number of beggars and suffering citizens he let's out a heavy discouraged sigh.

"Sometimes I wonder if my efforts are even doing anything..."

After the softly spoken words he begins approaching each person in need, supplying anything he can to them ranging from some spare food he may have to gold. As he offers his aid, he'd also speak to each person quietly, giving them words of encouragement and hope before departing them with a bow of his head and proceeding his way through town.

On a quiet night Giselle Standt makes her way to Shadowdale and visits with High Harvestmistress Glamerie. Knowing that the money would be much better spent by the House of Planty, she leaves 15,000 gold with her to help feed the truly destitute.

((I need someone to find me in game to give away the coin. That's hard late at night!))

Charity does what she can by purchasing food and doling out that along with some coin to the beggars she can find.

((Likewise, I'd need to come to an arrangement with the DMs for how much this is going to cost! Charity can't afford to drop huge sums all at once, but she's happy to share what she's got.))

As a druid, it is both a duty and honor to help the farmlands flourish, and to determine when planting and growing are best for the season. Lhanir wandered by the farms, assisting them before her walking brought her to the heart of Shadowdale. Any extra coin on her person had gone towards those who seemed worthy, but her main focus was on immediate food and mild healing, which appeared first and foremost in comparison to other issues.

Thus, as quickly as she appeared she melded back into the forest for the day as though never having been in town.

Vincent continues his patrols through town, giving small donations to the beggars, as well as any spare supplies he may have. Also, he begins cooking small meals to feed as many of the hungry as he can at one of the open fires in North Shadowdale.

Aliel scowls as she sees those who help the beggars.
"They will starve again tomorrow," she mutters under her breath.

When time is given in Vincents now rather hectic life, he makes rounds again throughout Shadowdale, providing food to the hungry and small portions of coins or goods to those in need, just enough to ensure the Zhentarim don't take too much mind. During the evening hours, he gathers a small amount of children around a fire, cooking a small meal for them and sharing small heroic stories of what he's done giving the children a warm excited smile as they hear it. Before departing the children with their food, he gives them all a small gem along with some encouraging words before making his ways to the other duties of his day.

*Zidanja would make her way as often as her time allows toward Shadowdale, once she is there she would speak with the beggars and share with them whatever she has in her backpack, she would tend their wounds if they have any and attempt to cure them from diseases*

I should speak with Glamerie, maybe its possible to provide at least one warm meal per day..for each of them

*she then turns and leaves again..attempting to find Vincent, to discuss this matter with him as well*

Vincent spends his morning making his way around Shadowdale, offering small pouches of coin to those in need. Also, to those farmers he see's outside working he'd offer a helping hand with anything they'd need. After long hours of doing such work, Vincent makes one more round to any beggars or people on the streets, sharing any spare food he'd have with him or again giving small pouches of gold to assist them to get a meal, inn room, or whatever they'd need.

The Dreadknight's servant moves among the shops and traders, buying this and buying that. They deal with her reluctantly but she pays top coin and speaks pleasantly even when they spit behind her back.

She makes sure to place orders generously, to pay immediately on delivery and to keep in mind what shortages there are and not put extra strain on the system.

She's lived in Shadowdale three years now and she knows many of the people. Where she can, she murmurs a suggestion that this beggar used to be a skilled craftsman and maybe he could help out with this job or that.

It's not much, but a steady income is something in hard times.

She sees Vincent and the others. She suspects them of putting around the propaganda that bringing the farmers in from the orc attacks was an attempt to take their farms away and round them up, instead of what it actually was, a way of saving their lives. So she avoids them and goes among the beggars when they aren't around.

The planely dressed, plane looking person who kinda looked like a begger herself, would try and circulate a message around the beggers, homless and needy. "If you wish to have a better life meet me in the far south of town inside the barn in half an hour, try not to let the Guards see you, pass the word around."

For those that came the elf would offer trainning in Martial Arts, Dicipline, Meditation as well Education in the Great Grumbar and that he always provides if you know how to accept his gifts. Those that attended would be taught how to deal with poverty and embrace it to better themselves, her reasonning being for relying on others will only bread the habit of becoming dependent on others.

A ragged man walks into the barn for shelter hearing of the offerings.

He makes careful notes of who is there and what is said and then walks to the temple of Bane to give a complete report of the traitors in the city.

An old man wanders the farm lands asking the local farmers about extra hands that may be needed due to the abnormal weather recently and seeing if they will take on some of the towns beggars as farm hands and putting them up in barns in exchange for labor services on their land.

Vincent returns after quite sometime, still determined as ever, he begins his way checking the boards to see any news upon Shadowdale. After such matters he makes his way around the farms, seeing how the fields are tended, houses taken care of and overall how the people are doing. Any people seen hungry, suffering or in need he'd aid however he could. Giving any spare water he had, food he packed with him or giving small children toys, gems and other simple items to lift the mood. And as usual, before departing each individual he'd encounter he'd remind them that his aid is there if they ever need it, always giving them warm pleasant smiles.

It seems as though for each person helped, there is another in need. It's hard to say if the help is having much effect, but spirits, even of those not aided yet, seem lifted.

Those who speak with the farmers may be surprised to hear that the red headed priestess of Bane has been working the fields with them and has spent time in their homes, bringing meals and words of encouragement that help will be coming. A few days ago, a contingent of soldiers, lead by the priestess, herself, was seen going from farm to farm, asking what each family needs to bring in the harvest.

Neophyte Azzelas could be seen to venture into the fire ant warren to keep the ant population in control, he then would come up and tell the surrounding farmers that the zhentarim and Banes church protect them from the dangerous ants.

A delegation of swordhands approaches each beggar handing them some food to ease their worst hunger, the beggars, however look at them frightened and curious at the same time.
Those close to them could hear some mumbled words.... "feed you.. farmers..harvest.. streets of Shadowdale.."
When the delegation leaves the beggars would look after them..some sighing heavily others stretches and something like hope might glint up in their eyes.
Soon some of beggars beginn to clean the street of Shadowdale while others hurry to the farmlands.. offering the farmers help for the harvest.
The patroling swordhands would look for them ever so often and brutally force those who still linger around lazily to work.

The Trusted Servant can be seen in the fields, working harder than usual. She seems to be attacking the fields with a fury and completing more work than usual.
